At end of the day, if you're going to be make a game that requires people to be online, even for single player, you better make sure your servers work.

On a much lesser scale, the game "Guardians of Middle Earth" was released several months ago. Now it was only a $15 MOBA, so not a major release. However, for primarily being a MOBA, the servers were abysmal. It was rare I made it through a competitive game without getting disconnected. On co-op skirmish games, I probably got booted 75% of the time (and to add insult to injury, when you get disconnected it was being counted as a loss in your stats). And I do plenty of online gaming (Uncharted, COD, Mortal Kombat, etc.) with minimal problems.

That game could be a lot of fun, and when I gave it another chance recently (after giving up on it for about a month), it was better, but still far too many disconnects.

Good game, but I don't like always having to be online when you're playing solo. My connection is solid, but I've still been booted a few times. Then it's a matter of figuring out how much progress I lost, which is annoying.
