The upcoming games for the Wii look pretty, good, but don't live up to what nintendo used to be. Looking forward to Mario. Modern Warfare? Not gonna buy it, but wow, finally.

Never played a Final Fantasy before, yet I'm excited for the new game coming out. I actually am going to buy it. I may get some other FF games beforehand to get a taste of it :) I think that these games are appealing to people because they haven engrossing stories and ahead of their console graphics. I heard about this game when I was in 4th grade, that is how popular it was and still is.

This and Littlebigplanet for sure.

I am 16, but I was thinking of asking for a nintendo ds for my birthday. I usually buy consoles myself, but I really want to get this as a present. If I do get it, what game should I buy? I really want Pokemon Platinum, but I think Super Mario 64 would be fun too. Any suggestions if anybody reads this?

I'm actually really excited for the results in the end. How about you?

I just bought Okami yesterday, haven't played it yet due to AP History summer homework and finishing up Metal Gear Solid 2. I can't beat those damn Metal Gear RAYS, and because I'm so excited to play Okami, I'm going to play it tonight. Metal Gear Solid will just have to be played occasionally until I beat those RAYS. Otherwise, any comments from people who have previously played Okami? (no spoilers) I got it because it looked like it had a story that I will get sucked into, much like Shadow of the Colossus.

Just finished the main part of the game! Wonderful, and so much fun to play, just like Mario 64 (which I am currently playing, unfortunately on an emulator). I will try to get the rest of the stars, and I'm taking it off of my now playing list.

I need to find Ico! Almost a year, and no luck finding it!

I am sick and tired of it now. I almost beat the game last week, and its terrible login screen allowed for me to delete my file, completely on accident. Now I just play every week. The multiplayer isn't as rewarding as it seems, and I'm just calling it quits. I expected alot more of this game, and it gave me nothing.

A lot of my friends find the wii to be gay or "for children". They arent impressed with the graphics, and dont like the selection of games. That lot of friends all own Xbox 360s. It seems more people are impressed with graphics and ease of games today. The wii is revolutionary, and should be praised, as it features MOTION CONTROLS! This is the future of gaming! Now you can play tennis by actually waving a remote instead of using your thumbs to move a player around. As for the age group, there are lots of games for mature gamers on the wii, but the real fun ones are ones like Mario. It also seems that people like shooter games. A game doesn't have to involve killing people to be fun.
