@Lost-to-Apathy It's actually already illegal to resell most software, and thus you are not covered by 'first-sale'. If anything this is just a step towards the end of the free-ride that gamers have been given so far.
I actually don't mind the idea that if I play a mates game I pay a cursory fee, maybe a few dollars, if it went primarily to the developer/publisher and not MS.
I'm kind of stuck on the 24-hours thing? So to make my life easier, I need to log-on to the net for no particular reason once a day? Also, to Mr. Harrison, if I had an XBox One it would actually be the only thing I personally use in my private and professional life that won't work without the internet.
@Shantmaster_K Some people on here seem to be really struggling with this idea. By the comments, a whole bunch of people are going to repurchase their old games as digital copies just to justify their complaining.

@GetafixOz Violence in most video games lacks consequence, past kill or restart mission, and has little or nothing to do with furthering the story, past kill these people and I'll tell you more of the story. That's what he means. He also isn't really talking about military style games.
@GetafixOz I don't think you read, or comprehend, the article correctly. He never states that violence is inherently devoid of meaning, nor that it excludes any feeling of accomplishment; he observes that violence is too often used instead of finding ways include deeper levels of interpersonal conflict in a story.
He also says he loved working on the games he did, and calls the GTA games masterpieces, which is hardly turning his back on his beginnings.
@Commander_Snowy 'Best ever conceived' is not the same as 'best ever produced'. But based on their previous games I don't need to many grains of salt with whatever Naughty Dog are telling me. Now all I need is a stable interwebs connection at home so I can give this online gaming thing a go...
@Kinguard73 I think a major issue on PC gaming is that they have to sell games so cheap to try and avoid people pirating, which they do to a ridiculous extent, that soon barely any companies will bother optimizing for PC and the benefits of PC gaming will disappear. AAA game makers know where their profits come from and will develop as such.
