@quinnd6: I don't think they care that it will hurt sales. The whole point is to encourage people to use Windows 10, and more importantly to build the presence of the Windows 10 Store. W10 itself is a good OS. You can turn off the data collection options in the initial start-up and it runs well. None of the games I have going back to the mid-90's have stopped working, but obviously I don't play everything, or know what games you have that are affected. It's the awful Windows 10 Mobile App Store that is the bigger issue to me.
Dear (some) Gamespot readers, read the review, not the bullet points. Its the large amount of text above the bullet points. It contains information that may clear up the confusion you have brought upon yourself by thinking 9 words worth of bullet points was enough reading.
@lostn: If that's how you 'read' a review, good writing is wasted on you anyway. In the actual text of the review (you know, the actual review?), there are rather a few major issues pointed out.
@eLite0101: WD season 2 was better than the first, and Tales from the Borderlands is the best game they have produced so far. The problem is they seem to keep expanding into unnecessary territory, but they still do produce some really good stuff.
@zero_juice: I loved season 1, and season 2 even more, but damn if the experience wouldn't have been better overall if I hadn't played the unfortunately unforgettable 400 Days.
@RogerioFM: In the series what she lacks in character she more than makes up for in silent glaring. She's really dull, and no katana-wielding can make up for the fact that everyone else is infinitely more interesting than her.
I didn't like 400 Days (the last WD interlude series) at all, and I'd really like TT to do more to change up their offering, but the fact that this series is about Michonne is alone enough to not interest me very much.
@adro191: A good episode of any series has its own properly structured arc and should form its own mini-narrative within the greater structure of the series. Randomly selecting a portion of time from a longer game isn't the same (also why the randomly hacked up Resident Evil Rev 2 is a poorly structured and paced mess as an episodic game) because that arc might not be there.
From looking at sales, you can also see quite a large drop off in people buying later episodes, so individual reviews could be helpful for the many who buy in single pieces.
