@adam4897332: I think Kojima buggered it up plenty by himself, even if Konami is clearly also at fault.

@Xristophoros: Remember they don't get every cent of a sale. On PC Valve takes a flat 30% off the ticket price of every game sold, and on console you have to remove the license fee, whatever the online-store cut is, the retailers cut for physical copies, manufacturing and distribution costs. A publisher will usually walk away with about 40% from a full-priced game sale, before they pay whatever taxes are associated with that sale.

@mjc0961: It would be pretty poetic in hindsight.

Is that how a non-compete clause works in this industry usually? In pharma a non-compete is generally two-years and means you can't work on competing development or utilize direct technical knowledge. You can still be employed though.

@bobothemighty: Indeed, though I thought the whole DLC was great, it was the wedding section that reminded me most just how special Wild Hunt could be at times.

I'd definitely give it a go if it was really comfortable. I already use a PS4 controller for when I need a pad (and that is probably my favourite feeling controller ever), and the accuracy of the right pad doesn't help because I don't play competitive shooters, and if I did I'd be using my k/m like I do for everything else. But $50 (or its Australian equivalent, $500) is worth it for a more comfortable gaming experience, so hopefully one of the rare times I have to go to a mall coincides with a store having one I can hold.

Never used the exploits, bought everything I came across that I wanted, and after I finished the game (after 70 hours) I had near on 30,000 gold. What were people spending up on? Gwent wager debts?

@camou504: Not remotely. It goes on a bit too long, and re-uses a few of the same environments by making you backtrack some places (and not in a good way). It's a stealth game that requires a lot of patience. You can't really take enemies head on, and the combat is so awful anyway that you really should be putting it on the hardest difficulty where you fail if your caught. But there are plenty of tools at your disposal, and some large environments to test your brain on. The story itself is entertaining enough to want to see more of, but the main character is great, and his narration is very nicely written.

@Daelusca: I know of plenty of people who will replay a game when DLC is released, rather than just play the DLC. It helps people waiting for 'GOTY' editions. It helps people who would like to play again, but had issues that needed fixing. Indeed, most people probably play a game once and forget about it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to keep helping those who care enough to stay involved with your game.

@vadagar1: Kind of made me want to go into NG+ after I've played the DLC.
