@zizi393 @jecomans I've got to say, Titanfall looks really impressive for that style of game. However, I generally don't play FPS (basically just Bioshock) and I don't enjoy online multiplayer.
Although I probably have a lot of retrofitted bias in favour of Sony, having played a PS since the beginning, I find that Microsoft has a lot less range in its exclusives than Sony.
@Iranazi I played so much Pokemon on Gameboy when I was younger, but since then have mostly used emulators on PC. I obviously really want to play Pokemon X so I'm thinking I should stop being a cheap bastard and do the right thing by Nintendo and stop stealing their games. That doesn't hide the fact that it is a damn unattractive console.
@telmor84 I don't think a bundled Kinect is necessarily bad, but MS should show consumers that developers are finding useful ways to use the hardware instead of telling them they'll probably do it in the future. Right now not even the XBox One exclusives do anything with Kinect, so the reality is not matching the marketing spiel.
@Gargus Totally excited about being able to look like a d***head out of I, Robot, talking to my appliances.
I, too, can't think of any game that has used the Kinect 2.0 in beneficially. If they're going the, 'Bundling means developers will innovate with Kinect because they have a captive consumer base', they might want to start showing that developers are interested in doing that.
@bigtimemad I've always imagined it would be nice to own both consoles, but MS doesn't have any exclusives that make me think the purchase would be worthwhile.
So the 2DS is coming out in Australia on on October 12, and retailing at about $150. I suppose the $50 saving on the 3DS for this large and unattractive hand held is a good thing, but probably not enough to convince many people of its merit. My guess is that Nintendo are just hoping that this cheaper alternative convinces a few people to buy it for Pokemon X & Y instead of waiting for an emulator.
@Danituga I think you'll find that a whole stream of comments indicating some peoples desire to 'panda' Jess are not what your average woman would consider a compliment, or make them 'feel wanted' in anything resembling a nice way.
@VarietyMage If they've got your account details they could get in anyway, so this wouldn't give any nefarious types any more potential access than they have now. However, yes, you will be able to tell your PS whether or not you'd like this to happen, much as you can control your download schedule now.
