@Tiwill44: In terms of preference yeah, it's subjective - for me the 360 had more games that appealed to my tastes but the PS3 had a pretty solid library toward the end for sure.
@RobDev: Wii was definitely a cultural hit but guess what? No one is using waggle controls anymore. The 360 set the standard for online console integration which this gen still uses today.
@RobDev: Culturally one could argue it did dominate, tho whether you agree doesn't mean you have to flip out at mere terminology. It definitely made an impact on the gaming landscape.
@bioswat: eh PS3 has a powerful processor but wasn't more powerful overall (GPU wasn't as good). Plus being hard to program for since the Cell wasn't really made for games meant that for a long time most games ended up performing worse on the PS3. That being said PS3 was a solid console either way.
Why are people taking issue with this article? Celebrating the success of the 360 doesn't take away any achievements of the other consoles. Hardware/corporate loyalty is a dumb/sad thing to fight about.
