DearS

Synopsis
Ikuhara Takeya is a high school student living a normal life. He is not interested in the commotion around a UFO filled with beautiful alien females that crashed on earth a year ago. The aliens, known as DearS, are deciding to take permanent residence on earth. What no one knows is that these aliens are a slave species whose sole purpose is to serve and please their masters. One day, Takeya spots a person shivering behind some bushes. This person, Ren, is one of the DearS, and after being saved by Takeya she chooses him as her master. Takeya, who doesn't know about the master-slave relationship of DearS, tries to learn Ren the normal life****of the people on earth, though he constantly fears that Ren is an evil alien who's trying to brainwash him. But Ren isn't like other DearS. She is in fact malfunctioning and is being tracked down by their leader. Meanwhile, Takeya begins to learn more about DearS, and a mythical DearS relationship called "Gift" begin to develop between them.

Review
One word comes to mind when I think about DearS... ECCHI it's major ecchi, and also the first few episodes is chobits all over again, but there were times that I just couldn't stop laughing.

Ergo Proxy

The motherboard that I need to run my Intel QX9650 quad-core processor I got for Christmas was just shipped! it was sold out everywhere so we ordered it so when EVGA sent some more to the place we ordered it from they would sent it to us, and I just got the email that it was being shipped:D, I expect it to arrive by Friday!

The mother board is the new EVGA nForce 780i SLI 775 A1 Version the motheboard broke the 30,000 3Dmark record with a score of 30,606! full story

So by the end of the week i should have an awesome rig:D

Trigun

Synopsis
Trigun takes place in the distant future on a deserted planet. Vash the Stampede is a gunfighter with a legend so ruthless that he has a $$60,000,000,000 bounty on his head. Entire towns evacuate at the rumor of his arrival. However, the real Vash the Stampede is not the same man that rumor portrays him to be. The enigmatic and conflicted lead character in Trigun is actually more heroic in nature; as well as a complete and utter idiot at times.

Great:D I love animes that mix sci-fi, comedy, and action together:D The best part is that it has JYB (Johnny Yong Bosch) in it:D If you don't know already he's my favorite voice actor, you may know him as Ichigo, or Renton, he even does games, like Devil May Cry 4, and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

I loved it!:D I love when CG is mixed with anime, but in this the enviorments were amazing, but the lighting on the characters wasn't all that good. It reminded me of ghost in the shell in some way. The story was great and I can't wait to see the new movie coming to DVD soon:D

Synopsis

Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyuu Kai

The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture

Sasahara Kanji is a college freshman who decides to join a student society to share his hidden thoughts on manga, anime and gaming.

When he first visited Genshiken, short for "Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyuu Kai" (Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture), his groundless pride was destroyed by the plotting of Madarame, a sophomore student in Genshiken, but he still couldn't admit that he is an otaku.

However, as he participates in society activities such as visiting dojin (private publishing) shops and anime festivals, and hangs out with other society members Kosaka (a hardcore otaku despite his extreme eccentricities and good looks), Kosaka's girlfriend Kasuga Saki (who isn't really an otaku), Ohno (a cosplayer) and the others, he opens his mind and resolves that he will make his way into the otaku world. With their help, Sasahara slowly adjusts to otaku life in Genshiken.

My Reveiw

The first episode was a bit slow but the series got better every episode, the story is about a group of otakus. Through out the show, Sassahara learns more and more of what it means to be an otaku, meanwhile the story also shifts between other group members, Saki falls in love with one of her old childhood friends, Kosaka, which happens to be an advid anime gamer. Saki likes the fact that Kosaka is a hunky dream boat, what she hates about him is his addiction to video games and anime. She tries everything she can to make Kosaka give up his interest, even put some of the other club members down. [spoiler] Eventually Saki becomes a member of the group and then we notice signs of her slowly getting into Cosplay. [/spoiler] This anime bases itself on the advertisement of another anime called, Kujibiki Unbalance. If you are an Otaku and want everyone around you to understand you better, just say "watch Genshiken":P, I recommend this anime to everyone (otaku or not).

If your going to watch Genshiken then you should probably watch this too, it's not that long, only 3 25min episodes, and this one doesn't expand on Genshiken at all but it is kind of cool to be watching the anime they watched in Genshiken.

Kujibiki Unbalance is an anime based off of an anime in an anime... :lol:

Kujibiki Unbalance is like a TV series shortened into 1.5hours, The first episode is like any normal episode, but the second episode is a recap episode that recaps the events that happened between the 1st and 3rd episode, the 3rd episode is ok but it ends with a "To Be Continued" and there's no episode after that, thats the end of the series, it's no wonder why it's Ranked #1588. I don't recommend this if you havn't seen Genshiken.

So I'm going to get an Alienware:D no not a desktop but a laptop, I prefer building my own computers, but I can't make a laptop and alienware makes the best gaming laptops available. In this one you can see that gamespot and Gamefaqs are about the same and that Gamespot is on a rise in popularity, also TV.com has remained the same for past year, and when I go back further on the chart I see that Gamespot has always been more popular than TV.com, then mp3.com even lower and movietome barely on the chart(the small black line at the bottom)

I really like this chart, in it you can see gaming trends over the past year, so Gamespot has been in the lead for... ever, IGN has come close but has never passed gamespot, then at the bottom is 1up.com, if you zoom in close enough to the chart you can see when Jeff left gamespot there wasn't as big as a decline as I thought there would be, and after the Jeff incident gamespot was even more popular:

I finally got to putting videos on my PSP:D

I love it, I put Episodes 1-7(DVD order) of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and have already watched 3 episodes on my extremely long buss ride to and from school(aprox. 30min)

I was in science learning about half-life(not the game, but the actual science half-life) so after that I decided to go on wikipedia to learn more about it, I found some pretty cool stuff:D like "The half-life of a quantity whose value decreases with time" so basically something in the game might be decreasing over time, and the half life logo λ is actualy the 11th letter of the Greek alphabet and In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 30, in english that is Lamdba, soun familiar? it should, in half life 1 one of the places you go was "the Lambda complex", the symbol also is "said to signify unity under oppression", that fits perfectly with half-life, because Gordon has the λ on his HEV suit and the Resistance in HL2 also uses the symbol. I'll leave it at that, if you want to find more feel free to explore the almighty wikipedia, because the links never stop:P

Also when I was walking to the library to do this blog at school, I was thinking, Half-life released in 1998 and the events of half-life 2 take place 10 years after HL1, that would mean that half-life 2 takes place in 2008:D

I have resigned from all my unions except the ones i actually use(The Emblems Union best union ever, thanks fastesttruck:D) or might use.

Please don't take it personally, as most of you probably know I'm just not a forums person(I've only posted about 10 times), I've tried to improve:oops:

On the same not please no more union invites, I have received more than 10 in the past 24hours, some of which don't even relate to me, like the The Nintendo League as most of you should know, I HATE nitendo! that was one of the reasons I left them all.
