the only people who care about the price drop are people without a xbox yet. so keep complaining or waiting for a higher price drop. it might be another year before it hits $300.
drink in moderation, you dont have to pound 5 beers in 10 minutes and get sloppy sally drunk. just go have fun instead of living in your cave. or if you still dont want to drink just go with them and have fun and make fun of your drunk friends.
well think about it for a minute, and use some common sense. ill go out on a venture and say no they will not take your old hot xbox 360 and replace it for a new one. there are 11 million xbox's sold, no way they even think about that. but if your xbox breaks with the 3 red lights you send it in and they might give you a new one or fix up the one you sent in to have the new stuff in it.
took me 4-5 tries after i watched the video on youtube of the glitch in general raam fight. youtube general raam glitch and youll get the video how to beat him easy. i beat him on the easier difficulty and tried for like an hour to beat him on insane and couldnt do it so i did what the video did.
gears is a good game. never played oblivion but i think its still full price 59.99 or close to it. and in a month or 2 they are releaseing a oblivion game of the year edition which includes the shivering isles downloadable content (which is $20 bucks i think) on the cd itself. so its up to you if you wanna wait for that or not.
most places like circuit city, best buy, walmart and costco got a price match thing. so if it does go on sale to a lower price within like 30 or 90 days they will give you the difference you paid for the item at the time then the price of it now. so if you buy it tomorrow for 400 bucks and 5 days later microsoft lowers the price to 350. walk back in with your receipt and get that 50 bucks from them. but there is no guarentee for price drop either.
08 will be a great game. it runs at a full 60 fps, and has all the features that were on ps2 and xbox1 versions of madden 06. madden 06 and 07 on the 360 were missing lots of these features.
plus all the new animations in madden 08 will be tight. mid air collisons, gang tackling, 1 handed catches and sideline catches. its going to be a great game.
and dont waste your money on madden 06 or 07. they will make you want to go out and buy madden 08.
sometimes if you dont pre-order a game like halo 3, gta 4, etc. the game is so popular that it sells out almost instantly at all the stores that carry it. so if you live in a sort of small town walmart, target, best buy, circuit city will probably sell out of the game in the first couple of hours. so its good to pre-order the game if you want it that day. sometimes itll take those stores listed another 2-3 days to get another shipment of games in. so you might not be able to get that game that comes out on tuesday until like friday becuase it sells out.
I think the elite is probably a lot more reliable then the premium right now. but in a matter of weeks to months they will both be made flawlessly. Microsoft gave every xbox that was sold already or yet to be sold a 3 year warrenty. So you can now expect the console to last well past the 3 year warrenty. The elite is good if you got the money. you get the extra 100 gig's, and hdmi output which is good only for 1080p resolution HDTV's. even if you dont have a 1080p tv as of now within2 years 1080p will be standard resolution for all high def tv's. so the elite is good for the future too. I have a lot of demos and arcade games and got about 5 gigs left. hopefully that is enough for both expansion packs that are going to come out for grand theft auto 4 early next year.
anyways, every day and every week you wait longer the better odds that your console doesnt have flaws. but if you buy it from bestbuy or walamrt and it messes up within return policy i think you can walk in and exchange for a new model. but after that time runs out then you have to go thru microsoft for hardware fixes. i really think they are tryin to have this stuff fixed a couple of weeks before halo 3. cus that game is going to sell lots of systems and attract new customers to MS, so they dont want to let them down. early adopters always get way less reliable products.
