[QUOTE="lowe0"][QUOTE="Espada12"] I usually leave my front door un-deadbolted when I get home from work, and deadbolt it right before I go to sleep. Anyone who feels like it is certainly not welcome to walk through my front door. Password or not, it's not my server. I don't belong there.

Alright, but that analogy isn't close to the same. It would be more like someone hosting a barbaque in their front yard with a sign telling people to feel free to join in. If you didn't want people joining you, you wouldn't have the sign there saying come on in.

Wait... The OS used nearly half of the PS3's non-video RAM before? That's silly.

[QUOTE="PannicAtack"]

It's amazing how people can view expanding the market as "killing" it.

TJORLY

By expanding it to casual gamers, Microsoft and Sony will try to emulate Nintendo's businesspractices.

Seeing as Nintendo is focusing on casual idiots,and is making the most money, it makes sense that Microsoft and Sony will copy them. I dont know about you, but a market full of games that are geared towards five year olds with ADHD isn't a great thing.

Yeah, I agree, games geared towards 5 year olds with ADHD are bad. It's why we need less Halo and COD, and more strategy games.

Nah, turnbased games ussually have a lot more depth then real time games, which makes turn based games more appealing for the most part. The one thing about turned based games I hate is when they bog them down with terribly long animations for things like moving that kill the pace of the game.

Well I never! I had no idea the spirtual sequal to Baldur's Gate would have the same play style as Baldur's Gate! Man, what a complete shocker.

Bio-Ware is batting 100 when it comes to RPGs. Borderlands looks to follow the tradition of open world rpgs with garbage or forgetable stories in exchange for endless boring missions. I like leveling up so I could probably enjoy it for that, but Dragon's Age has leveling up and will likely have the other things I expect from a RPG as well.

Only one out of every 10 games Bioware makes is good? I don't think thats true.
