Edit: Just so we agree here. Ther argument is that controllers are better because they're worse right? This is exactly what I got from the post, yes.Filthybastrd

Huh. Not sure if I agree.

[QUOTE="kozzy1234"]It's still like ticketing someone who was going to park in the fire lane, but never actually did. You can't just pre-emptivley slap someone acrost the wrist for thinking about something, or trying but never actually doing it. The Minority Report isn't real. No, it's not. He actually attempted to sell his account. It would be more like soliciting a prostitute, and, whoops! Undercover cop, and you're going to jail even though you didn't actually pay her or get to have sex with her.His fault, he was talking about selling his account, which is not allowed to do on steam. Of course he is going to say WELL I REALLY WAS NOT GONNA SELL IT! when he gets caught.
Dont cheat or use hacks on steam and dont sell or talk about selling your account and your fine.
He was intending to sell his account, that is a no no.

I guess, though they made their best stuff before they even joined up with Microsoft though.
The last big release I can think of for PC was Cataclysm in December, and the next big one is a crippling 5 days away? For example when was the last good fighting game for PC or action adventure game? The last big release I can think of for the PC is Starcraft 2. Why is it that consoles get more big releases and seems to be more consistent than PC when it comes to getting good games?

I have all three consoles. My gaming time is probably PC > DS >>>>>>>>> 360 > Wii >> PS3
[QUOTE="zxcqweasd1"]I would rank this one below last gen, 2 gens ago, and 3 gens ago, which would make this the worst console generation in 20 years. I'd argue that it's the best :]Honestly, this whole gen has been destroyed by consolization - by that I mean multiplats that would have been PC exclusives. They're crap. Most of these games have been held back.
And the FPS genre has also gone to hell because of the rise of console shooters.
The worst thing is the control factor. Shooters which would have previously been designed entirely for KBM accuracy (a la CS and Quake) are now primarily designed for use with analog sticks. This means a much larger hitbox and crappier detection. PC didn't have a framerate limit either, while these new suckers are designed for 30FPS console dinosaur ish. The lowest you can get the input lag with 30FPS is 100ms which is a joke.
This is the worst generation ever.

Elder Scrolls. Still kicking.

I hear different from the bords ala oblivion.
Meh, let them cry, not having mods on consoles hardly sours the experience.
Doesn't change the fact that Oblivion sucked.[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]
[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]I believe in all kinds of justice, even vigilante justice. I live in Mississippi, and if someone breaks into my house, I have the right to shoot first and ask questions later. Moral of the story: don't break into my house because stealing my valuables isn't worth your life. If you're Nintendo, criminals shouldn't steal games from them because it isn't worth rendering your system useless.
Criminals need to have a lot to lose when they steal. The only time it's ok to steal is when you take food if you're starving.

Logical fallacy detected.
Copyright infringment is not theft. Nothing is "lost."Actually, it is theft, and the comapany loses a sale by you taking their product for free. Intellectual property is still property, otherwise we would not have patents. Copyright laws exist to protect intellectual property. If it was not stealing, copyright laws would not exist, so please think twice next time you are contemplating an attempt to spread this already defeated dead talking point. The Supreme Court ruled in Dowling v. United States that copyright infringement is not theft, as nothing has "stolen, converted or taken by fraud." It's still illegal, as it is copyright infringement, but it is in no way theft.
I feel like they have had console developer positions on their hiring site for years. Am I off base on this?
