@Barighm: "It's more likely the only thing a PS4 owner would be missing would be the exclusives, and if you have a PC, you've got those, too."
To add some clarity, IF you have a good enough gaming PC. I have 4 PCs in my home, but none of them can run games at the level of last gen let alone this one. At the cost of a PS5 or XSX, it is better value than an equivalent gaming PC from scratch. As for performance, in recent analysis the XSX has been running at higher resolutions than the PS5, though I will say PS5 has been nailing framerate better.
Exclusives have always been Sony's selling point, why would they stop now? Given that from a performance standpoint XSX is slightly edging them, they can't sit back early on riding the resolution train like they did last gen. Now they have to get exclusives out earlier than they did on the PS4. They will certainly retain the loyalists just like MS has, but the undecideds are the key here. Many people are being won over to Xbox due to Gamepass. The hardest part of starting a new gen is not having many games to play. If you were a PS4 owner you could look at getting an XSX with an annual Gamepass sub and immediately have access to 600+ games right out of the box.
Sony's hand wasn't forced last gen as it is now. If they rush things it could hurt the quality of games that should've continued to bake for a little longer.
@gamingdevil800: Well the Xbox One has native club support, which I would imagine would be the way to go. Not sure if you're playing on PC. I would be so game for being an actual griefer pirate. It's what pirates do.
@gamingdevil800: My crew and I did this very thing to another ship while it's crew were on shore searching for treasure. We swam across, cleaned her out, swam back and then blasted the hell out of the ship sinking it right there. It was glorious!
