ITs awesome, but not the best this gen
No I didn't buy it. UbiSoft doesn't care for the PC anymore. Bad luck to them I guess.-CheeseEater-i would have loved to play it on pc too, but its not really a pc game.
are you kidding? A. this is the only rayman praise thread ive seen.A lot of random Rayman Origins praise threads. Get off here, Ubisoft.
Big_Pecks
B. i made the post because i love the game.
[QUOTE="mexicangordo"]Yeah that is what I wondered. Do people who are surprised by this games quality actually play nintendo games? Probably not. DK:R, Warioland and SMG2 were excellent platformers. I can imagine this would make you feel like it's not worth that kind of money.it is totally worth the money and WAY longer than 4 hoursI like this game, I really do however 50 dollars for a game I beat in 4 hours? Are you kidding me? The game rewards you for beating it fast, most of the challenging levels are really short, its like Donkey Kong Country meets Sonic. Although it was fun and unique no way in hell was it worth a 50 (and for the other consoles 60) dollar purchase. Tons of other platformers lasted longer and had the same level of finace. It shouldn't surprise anyone why it flopped.

i agree. Tho i think super meat boy and VVVVVV are as good.Best 2D platformer of the entire generation. NSMBW is a joke compared to it.

4 hours? WHERE are you getting that number? it takes way longer than that to play through that game. try 8 hours. you will have to replay levels plenty. also there is a lot of value to be gained from replaying levels for faster times and secrets.I like this game, I really do however 50 dollars for a game I beat in 4 hours? [QUOTE="Tikeio"]
Yeah, it is. Too bad it was a financial flop.

releasing it the same day as assassins creed was awful
I got the Wii version on black friday for $30, because it was the cheapest copy I could find. Now the 360/PS3 versions are only $20.
Oh well... I still enjoyed the game. They should put it on XBLA/PSN. I'd probably re-buy it if Ubisoft did that. :P
I think it was going to be on XBLA and PSN ORIGINally (HA LOOK AT MY PHUNNY JOKE) but it got to big for the 2 GB limit and became a retail product. thats what i heard anyway.yeah, i got the 360 version for 30 bucks on amazon.
[QUOTE="jettpack"]I was a big fan of meat boy so that stuff doesnt bother me. also playing it coop mittigates some of the trial and error. Yeah I imagine it would be a lot better played as co op. Just some of the segments, like the boss I got up to, every time I died cause I had no idea what he was going to do, I had to keep playing through this tiny platforming segment after waiting for a tiny cutscene to pass. Really annoyed me.yeah, havent had the same issue. a little bit but not enough to bother me. What boss specifically? because the tiny cutscenes only played once for me. but yeah, playing it coop is tons of fun.[QUOTE="_Cadbury_"]I found it frustrating a lot of the time. Too much trial and error._Cadbury_
