Samus has been my fav. character since the original SSB and I must say I'm quite pleased with this model. Some ppl seem to be forgetting that screenshots don't do this game justice at all. One of the most stunning things about Brawl is how incredibly fast the game moves. We are marvelling at how wonderful (at least most of us) the screenshots look...just think about seeing all of this in motion. I wish we would get some new video!
What really blows my mind is that GBA nearly beat PS3 in sales. GBA came in at 80,554 units while PS3 managed to sell 81,604 units. PSP and PS2 also managed to come in ahead of the 360. I don't think anyone could have predicted these numbers. One thing's for sure...Nintendo is raking in the dough.
So after beating SPM, going through the pit of 100 trials and getting all the extras...does SPM have any value left? It just doesn't have the epic feel of Zelda to earn a permanent spot in my game collection. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but just how much value does it have left now? I know I can get $30 for it at Gamestop...so trade or keep?
According to the latest Nintendo power, Batallion Wars 2 will launch on September 24th. Yikes...very close to Halo 3. I wonder if Halo 3 will affect sales at all? This is really good news. It looks like EA is bringing Madden online full-force to the Wii. I've been really impressed with EA's support so far. Now if we can just get some NCAA...
Is the c stick really needed? I did all my smashes with the analog+A and i could play just fine. Also im no noob, i consider myself above the average gamer but no pro at all (i can wavedash and edgehog, u know the basic stuff) Plus i remember reading an article about smash and there is like some sort of debate saying the c-stick is for noobs or something like that. Plus u cant even charge smashes with the c-stick. In my opinion is not necessary.Exxelerator
Actually, all of the "pros" use the C-stick. Pretty much any SSBM tournament allows the C-stick; it's actually considered the standard. I used to think the same thing you did. The C-stick is actually more useful for combos as well.
