I believe g.s. said it cannot support 1080P, not 1080i. . .there is a large noticable difference in my opinion between 720p/1080i and 1080p on larger sets. . . .

It's not out yet, it is expected in spring of '08. Believe me, Sony will make it abundently clear when they launch it.

I'd suggest doing some research online, there is a TON of info out there.

Short story, it is an online community that is avatar based for all things video games (chatting, demos, launching games, etc.) and for multimedia enterainment in general.

Search these boards, sony's site and the internet in general, you'll find all sorts of info.

There was a beta test earlier, before the game came out, but people got randomly selected for that. . .it wasn't something that you could download if you wanted.

It'd be hard to do a demo for a game that is online only, they'd have to have some sort of timelapse embedded into it, otherwise they'd be giving the game out for free basically.

I'd recommend you go out and it get, it is the only thing holding me back from buying cod:4 right now.

The remote play feature is my main reason for considering buying the psp. I don't think I would use it much for hand-held gaming, but for streaming content on my ps3 to it would be great.

I have a question, can you stream blu-ray movies in your ps3 to the psp?

They are very useful in capture the flag when the other team kills your flag carrier and they all huddle up to save the flag quicker. . . . .Wait until you get like 4 guys hanging around the flag and then . . .. ppppppppsssssssssssss. . .. BOOM! they're all dead and you grab the flag and run like hell (typically only to get killed yourself about 30 seconds later!).

CTF is sweet though. . .I think I got 6 with one airstrike using that method, it was great.:D

Hey everyone

I currently own a ps3 and was thinking of getting a psp. What are the benifits of owning both?

Any word on the ability to stream content from your ps3 to the psp. . .I am mainly thinking that I may be wasting my $$ on the psp because I don't see myself using a portable gaming system too often. But if there was say the ablity to stream from the ps3 to the psp than that would open a world of possibilities to me.

I am going to be going on a business trip to L.A. from Buffalo and thought that this might be a good excuse to grab one.

Basically the question is simple, as asked earlier, what can I do with a ps3 and a psp that would be sweet.
