That's the problem with consumers like you. You're totally ok with the focus of releasing new games and IPs being thrown out the window or taking a back seat to social features, Kinect, etc. Answer me this. If the point of the reveal was to exclusively show off hardware, why show COD Ghost at the finale? Or the new trivial features in EA sports titles? Or Forza at all? If this reveal was exclusively about hardware then Ghost be wouldn't the finale. They took their eye off the ball and don't have any heavy hitters to show off or even tease
It's a bold move towards "big business" friendly consoles versus gamer friendly and they're targeting the casual gamer. How malokevi can say Microsoft is focused on games when they showed the same old and milked franchises (COD, EA Sports, and Forza) is beyond me. If they had any heavy hitters they would have at least released a teaser. period
Let me help you. Blocking used and borrowed games until a fee is payed to Microsoft, forced use of Kinect, forced online connectivity, and a complete lack of focus on new GAMING experiences. Enjoy talking to your mother over Skype while you flail your hands around and shout at your Kinect so you can switch between COD 22 and Sex and The City
That's fine but the head of business at Microsoft should NOT be insulting consumers by calling people who enjoy a highly sought after feature as "backwards" It's a PR nightmare. Microsoft just needs to shut their mouth at this point because they are borderline incompetent in conversing with the public
I'm really turned off by the idea that not only is the system forcing you to have an active Internet connection and Kinect plugged in but also tracking your facial expressions, body movement, and potentially voice without express consent. Seems invasive
@Flamerdragon @jmace1 @gouldy98 I actually get quite annoyed when I'm using Netflix to watch a film and my friends spam invites to games and party chats. Now when I am watching a movie, I always transfer my status to "appear offline"
