Man, these comments got really dumb; really fast. You want realistic gameplay where you have a full time job, eat food regularly, are thirsty, and when you do break the law, has real world consequences?!....You pseudointellectuals kill me.

So you want to play a game where you get a 9-5 job, struggle with the cost of living in a metropolis and trying to get to work on time, eat dinner and don't forget to hydrate, check facebook/email/pay bills/do chores, sleep, rinse, & repeat. Then when you do go in and rob a store, you're immediately overwhelmed with the vastly superior weaponry, technology, and manpower of the local police department. If you don't get killed, you serve decades in prison where the most excitement comes from the occasional "shanking" and trying to shower without getting raped.

Please don't ever develop games, flesh19no. Please....

You can purchase this title on Steam for $10. If slap stick, simple, over the top games aren't your cup of tea more power to you, but can we please cut BS that every game developed these days has to be a AAA, 100 million dollar budget (often times more), photorealistic, etc.? It's a bunch of ignorant drivel. We shouldn't be comparing review scores of a budget title (**With a corresponding price point mind you**) to a AAA game in the first place; let alone an RTS (Heart of the swarm) to a mock simulation. Doing so on anyone's part shows a complete lack of review comprehension.

I've invested around 60-70hrs into Defiance and this review seems spot on to me. It's very flawed but incredibly compelling.

Are we really criticizing a fighting game for its story? Like really?!?! When has this ever been a serious critique for this genre? Show me a man who buys this for a story. Show me one and I'll show you a fool!

@blackace @PixelAddict I thought Condemned was great. Never forget, Mr. Tibbits.

@MajinSquall @jmace1 @SNESNOSTALGIA2 Agreed. I imagine when they announce the console in May they'll either acknowledge or deny the claims. However, the fact that they haven't flat out denied it despite the negative press concerns me.

@SNESNOSTALGIA2 You purchased a WiiU over a 720.....*sigh*...to each their own.

Provided Adam Orth's comments about 720 being an always online device, I'll be picking up a 720 and a PS4. I won't be able to afford both at launch so it will depend on the launch titles. As for the WiiU, I'll pass.

@SirApathetic005 @Tripwolf From everything I've read, and that's not exclusive to this website, Wii U sales are dismal when compared to not only the Wii, but all of the current generation consoles. Nintendo simply launched a console without any games that are system sellers.

Sony should consider adding Adam Orth to the payroll. He sure knows how to F*** Microsoft. What a PR nightmare

@Evil_Rage Again, I disagree. The biggest PC exclusive (now a timed exclusive) that I remember purchasing recently which wasn't distributed by EA or Activision was The Witcher 2. You did not need to use Steam or Origin to purchase and play that title. Completely optional. You could go into a store and bypass both systems.

You keep on stating there isn't an online alternative, but sites such as good old games (gog.com) offer DRM free titles. Given most of those are PC classics, but they are introducing newer titles. I acknowledge the faults of DRM, but I'm simply stating it's not going anywhere.

And again, I am astounded that everyone here is failing to acknowledge the excellent deals Steam offer and saying Steam is service that is NOT superior to Origin in every way. Thanks GOD companies don't look at forums on how to run their companies and instead look at who's actually purchasing games or they'd take the sales away altogether. Incredibly cynical.

I got the brand new X-COM title for free for no other reason that I preodered the excellent Bioshock: Infinite. Show me where on par with that anywhere other than Steam?
