hehehhe, i've broke many controllers in my time. Never really thrown any about though. But more like tripped over the wires (thats not going to happen no more, wireless). and heres my favorate one, i have spilt hot drinks onto them, mainly Hot tea. The buttons would get all sticky, very annoying when your playing a game. So i take them apart and clean them but then i can never get them back together again, the back buttons feel all funny but i have a trick for this, works every time, u slide some strips of paper between the buttons and the sensors then when put back together, slide the 2 bits of paper out MAGIC.
Oh yh, i have broken a pad before by mistake, the R1 and L1 buttons are quite weak, well after a lot og gaming anyway, thats why 9 times out of 10 that ratterling that you hear is bits of plastic broken off them buttons. It happens to me when playing fighting games because i get that urge to press the buttons in harder then hard even though it makes no difference and the corners of the buttons go in and break. Looks like i need a presure sensitive pad with a lot of degrees of presure lol.
