@rugripper40. Ever stop to think that more people have a wii and 360 that the sales will slow down? Th wii is still in more homes than the 360 or PS3 but will now sell less because of it. If there were more PS3's in home's, it would sell less.
@ZedFragg. i would never say that gears was the best looking game or say is looks better than the game you posted.Gears is a good looking game but not what I would call a game that could stand up to Uncharted. making games is a art. It is up to the dev's to make a game look they way they want. If they want life like, they will do so. My point is this. The 360 has more video ram to work with. If dev's would use more of it, the PS3 would get owned. But once more. It's all about the green.
@ZedFragg. Operation: (Flashpoint (1) runs better on a GeForce 4 440mx 128mb AGP card than a 8800GTX 768mb PCI-e card.) That has everything to do with the age of the game and drives for the game. I tryed to play some old games on my computer and it is not good. I only have a 9500gt card and some older games run better on my old 6600gt. It is a driver thing. Yes the PS3 has some good first party game but it it also help when Sony has the best devs around. If dev's would use more of the 360s video ram than the PS3 would look like a joke. How ever the 360 has some of the best looking games coming out in.. No, its a new year lol. this year. If devs would put more time into the 360's hardware games would look even better. How ever it's all about the green. Now the japan dev's put a lot of work into there games and that is why they make some good looking games. How ever I wanna make this point. If the PS3 had the 360's hardware and the 360 had the PS3's hardware, the same people who will only play Sony will say that there system is better. Point... Look at the first xbox and PS2. the xbox had a much better video card and a better CPU. The CPu in the xbox was 750 MHz and the PS2 CPU was 200 and something MHz and still still people were up Sonys but and talking about how much more powerful the PS2 was than the xbox. But the xbox was 2x more powerful.
@TevoxZi. I posted that there was talks of GOW coming to 360 but. I dont think that will happen. I posted that as well. Why is it that every one wants links? It is not hard to show links that help 360 or the PS3. I can find links that say the PS3 is better and links that say 360 is better. Once more I have friends that work in this biz and even dev say the same thing. The 360 is better with games. Blu-Ray and a Cell CPU will not make games look better. You must have a lot ram for good looking games. So what you are telling me is 384 mb will make games look better than having 480mb? What school did you go to? I'm 31 and know more about this stuff. I have been to school for this stuff and under stand how it all works. You like the rest have no idea. None what so ever. Why is it that the maker of MGS for PS3 was not happy with the PS3. He used all the PS3's power, and for what? There are other games that look better than MGS. Kind of sad dont you think. That is why other MGS games are coming to 360 and not just PS3. Like FF13. The dev's say the game runs better on the 360 and because water is a big part of the game, the 360 can do that kind of stuff better. Download the unreal eng 3. Make a room that works. make it as real as you can. I put cash on it it will look like any other unreal game. One of the things hold both systems back it the tools or the eng. Also the crysis eng runs a hell of a lot better on the 360 and they say it is because the 360 has more ram for them to use.
@TevoxZi. The PS3 has 256 mb as it's main. It can call for 128mb more if needed and it always needs it. the other 128 is used for the CPU and other kinds of things. That That puts the PS3 at 384 mb that can be used for games. The SPE is more like hyper-theading. The CPU thinks it has more CPUs than it has. The only thing the CPU has to do with video is it gives up ram to the video card. The Cell is not even half the power of a real cell and can not work as a GPU and a CPU at the same time. That is why sony had nvidia make there video chip. The same video chip that is in the PS3 was the same one that would have went in the 360 but MS wanted something better and ATi had it.

The fact is, The 360 has a better video card and has more ram than the PS3 so games will look better on a 360. No matter how hard you try, you will never give any fact that the PS3 is better. 98% of all dev will tell you that the 360 is better when it comes to games, how well they run on the 360 and looks. Epic and a ton of other's really would like not to make games for the PS3. That is why the makers of MGS is now working with the 360 now. Even talks of GOW being made for 360 are in the pipe lines. (I dont know about that) Funny thing to is that the fact that the guys who are making FF13 say it runs better and looks better on the 360. This is coming from game makers! I have friends that work for a few game comps and they say the same thing! Look at the PS2. It was not even 60% of what the first gen xbox was. the xbox was a monster but sony fan boys who know jack say it was more powerful and it was not. It stands the same today. The cell is not even a full cell and the video card is weak. how is it a 380mb video chip better than a 512 mb chip? Eat it up.
