Finally, some thoughts on a new vista directx10! As far as I have personally have tried (Crysis) and seen everything else running on directx 10 system, Vista, and as every hardware concealment would say:  There is no point in upgrading to vista,  course just recently directx 10 was decoded and now you can run every directx10 game on xp, as on vista!

I would like to add.
Everything you should be thinking about, is on buying STALKER, everything else ride now is not wourth buying, downloading maybe instead. The real problem is not your RIG but the games itself. Thats why I never upgrade before it's worth it. Today I have apreety good rig: 6600, 2Gb DD2 and my favorite 7900 GTX Extreme Editon. I can play almost everything on max, no need for cutting edge. I am not an overclocker or any of it's kind. If you are thinking with your brain not your money, then you one day you will understand that it was not worth on having the best of the best before the real games are out and fully support's your hardware. There are games that are comming out later this year, where I think, I am going to need to upgrade my GFX, but it's only a very big maybe, it deppends on many things, and not what you or I score in the brand new 3dMark2006, course it's only a program for future games.
Many people would never understand this, but others do! Lot's of my friends still playing just fine on: 3GHz P4 or3000+ AMD 64 bit proccessors and 6800 Ultra or in the worst case Radeon 700 Pro. Precticly we are all getting almost the same gameplay expirience becides the graphics. In most cases people get used to it, but many sujests that in the end it deppends on how good is your picture quality on your monitor CRT/LCD. Now I can finally see what they ment. I have seen lot's and lot's of CRT and LCD screens..... I can continew.... but not in this topic. Get 22" Samsung 226BW and you will see what I mean.

First of all I know that this is not the best place to ask this kind of questions, but I would like to try and hopefully get some real answers. I am going for a huge PC upgrade next month and would like to replace my very old 22" Sun Microsystems CRT. The first reason why I want to upgrade, is that I am running dual screens 1: 32" LCD HDTV (widescreen), 2: 22" CRT (not widescreen). My old CRT minitor does not have a good ingame picture quality.
Which one should I get, or do you know any sites where I can find this kind of information. I have been to TOM'S but found nothing. I would like to like to see 30 or 40 LCD's compared.
Would like to add that I need a good resolution, 1450x1050 at least.
My eye is falling on this two screens:
22" SyncMaster 226BW, 2ms, DVI-D, Widescreen, 1680x1050, Black/Silver Model:LS22MEWSFV
22" Mirai DML-522W100, 1680x1050, 0.282 mm, 5 ms, 300 cd/m2, 700:1.

Someone is drunk I think. There is no point in this topic what so ever, but good luck with that.

I thought that I would just tell you how good is the game, but I ended writing a hole review. So I am not going to add it in here.
