Because why waste money developing a new game when you can basically release a mod for an existing game that youre making a killing off of selling loot boxes.
"if this is successful, I'm planning to go straight ahead and make No More Heroes 3 as well"
I get what you're saying but he didn't say it quite like that. All he's saying is that if there's still an interest in no more heroes (sales figures will show that) then he'll make no more heroes 3 as well. No point in reviving an old IP if people have lost interest in it.
With that being said i will agree with you on this: I think anyone that has basic knowledge about the video game industry is aware that in order to fund future games, current games have to sell well but its somewhat of an unspoken rule that you don't say that because it sounds bad.
Thank God lion is getting a nerf. I know casuals like to say things like "git gud" or "counter pick" but in a game like siege being able to reveal all opponents to your entire team, even for a brief moment, is way too broken.
Fighting games are definitely an option since snk heroines and SF 30th anniversary are dropping this year. Include the fact that adapters so you can use any fightstick are available for dirt cheap on the switch and you got a decent online fighter platform.
Though free would have been nicer, $20 bucks for a year is palatable.
For $20 I know we shouldn't expect any extras but it would be nice if they threw in a free game every month. Nothing major but a classic or indiie title would suffice.
Good thing I have a physical version of the complete edition on the 360. May not be as pretty as the PC version but at least its playable and has everything on the discs.
Not to rag on Sony but their showcase where they announced it was a sham. Promises of shenmue 3, kingdom hearts 3 and final fantasy 7 remake then silence.
