I don't remember what battle rank I was on to tell you the truth but I did have trouble with the bases. Anyway, what I did was really grind away leveling up my characters in Fornstrand (I think that's how it spelled) and it made a lot of difference. Also, make sure that when you start the base fight against Young, that you have David in your active party fighting, that way he can get his sword after the fight.
There's a thing with people (like me) liing to actually have a hard copy of whatever I buy. Like a book, hopefully the whole digital book revolution if far WAY far away from now. Sounds a little, romantic, I know, but who doesn't like to open up the game and flip through the booklet. I kind of like the feeling of having the game in my hands. There's also the whole issue of trading games and lending them to friends. HOw wxactly would you be able to trade in digital copies of games?
Agreed. IT's a great game. Everyone who complains complains Capcom didn't make the game THEY wanted. Who cares if you can still enjoy it. I had a great time with it and it was one of the first games where I actually tried to get the most achievements I could without playing online.
Hard drives use some of their space to run it's internal programs. I'm not really sure what exactly but you'll find it in all hard drives. For example a 250 gb hdd might really be something closer to 215 and what not. IT's perfectly normal
You can install the first disc and play through that part until it asks you to insert that next one, that's when you can try installing the second disc. I'm playing Last Remnant right now and I installed it into my HDD to lower the lag issues and it's working great.
I think Capcom should try to add loss of limbs in the next RE.
I love RE5 and all other RE's but I think being able to shoot zombies legs or arms off would be cool, instead of always just staggering them when you shoot them in the knees, how about you every once in a while shoot the knee off. I think it would some interesting melee opportunities if the zombies are trying to crawl towards you with their hands after blowing the legs off with a shot gun; or a zombie running towards you with no arms.
