Is anyone else still having the problem of not being able to get into the Pitt? I redownloaded it after they "fixed" it and made it through the door once but after loading my game again (wanted to keep my stuff) it doesn't work anymore.

It worked fine for me. Did you delete the old download and tried another save where you didn't use the corrupt download?
They just took it off the XBL because of all the glitches and what not. I downloaded it and it was full of red exclamation marks as if the file had been corrupted. Bethesda is saying that the English version they uploaded was corrupted and are working to fix it.
Definitely worth a look now that you can install it to the harddrive. The game has good gameplay, a solid story which is not overloaded with Jrpg cliches, and excellent art direction. Read the PC review and you can get an idea of what Last Remnant is like when installed on the HDD.

I'm enjoying it right now with it installed in my hard drive and even though there are some frame rate issues they're definitely not near as many as before installing it. The only thing that bugs me about the game is that characters grow stronger after fights, but they have weird stats like "Love", "Management", "Bravery", "Leadership" and such. I have no idea what they do. Other than that I'm thoroughly enjoying the game.
i have bought this recently and have a question about HD installation. I only have the 20GB drive so chances are I will only be able to install one disc (maybe 2).
How is the disc swapping in the game. Is it pretty much a fair chunk on disc 1 - then moves to disc 2. Or is there multiple swapping
The only reason I ask is that could I get away with installing disc 1, then when the game moves to disc 2 , remove disc 1 and then install disc 2 etc

I installed the discs one at a time and never had to swap.
You'll have to install the second disc too, though.
Haven't played Last Remnant, but I liked Lost Odyssey. Heard LR was somewhat buggy, though.GamerJM
The only bug that's bothersome is that it has some frame rate issues sometimes when the battles get bigger, but installing it on the hardrive really smooths it out a lot
If you lost interest in Eternal Sonata then you may struggle with Lost Odyssey (way, way better than Last Remnant... which was garbage).
The first disk is soooooooooo slow.

The first disc may be a bit slow but it really sets the stage for the story. Also the ending to the first disc is really (without giving anything away)... emotional. This... I prefer Last Remnant, specially now that I'm on the second disk and the battles are huge. And "bluem00se" is right. The end of disc one is emotional... I couldn't get my eyes off the screen.
