I think what hurt Nintendo the most was having updated ports of games as their launch lineup. I mean the Wii had Zelda on launch and a new IP Red Steel. A 2D Mario and ports just weren't all that interesting enough to me to make me want to buy the system and I was in line for hours waiting on the original Wii when it launched. I really hope the system takes off this holiday season. I really want one and that tablet controller just has awesome written all over it inmho. I just want a few more reasons to own it besides that.

Man Most Wanted with PC textures not possible on other consoles along with a steadier frame rate sure does sound nice. I guess it boils down to developers to learn the tech or for EA to put a band aid on the origin wound. Also this whole Nintendo is going under crap just makes me laugh. No one not Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo is going to lose enough money from console sales to go under. These are facts not opinions. I could link you to sales charts all day long, but it's your job before posting to do research not for me to do it for you even though I was nice enough to do it this time.

@songoku0206 @Diddyaa And that's respectful because it's your opinion. Some of us aren't though and hope to see a lot more of them just like I want more amazing PS3, PS4 titles.

@songoku0206 @joshphillips I've already admitted the fact that the Wii U isn't on top of it's game and that I haven't even bought a one yet because of the lack of software, but still Nintendo as a company has my love and always will. They are challenging creativity by creating a knew way to play games. Without that all consoles would be the same and we'd all be playing the same games all year long across all of them. I want developers to open their eyes and see the potential of the system and what making games on it could do for the industry as a whole.

@HonorOfGod @Hoski0999 Hmmm kind of a agree, but still even if Nintendo hasn't learned from the past very well they do have a history longer and have more accomplishments more so than anyone in the market. So I'd say it is where you are from, but just keep an eye on where you are going. :)

@GOGOHeadray @joshphillips I care and I've not yet bought a Wii U, but not based on the limitations of hardware, but the console not having the games I'm interested in. They're coming though just like they always do. I'm glad I have my PS3, Wii and PC and I hope to buy a Wii U soon after E3. Hopefully so will a lot more than myself. So really I think that Nintendo might have more of a problem marketing their console than anything. When I have to wait almost a year to get excited about the Wii U it's disheartening. I can't say I'm not disappointed, but hopefully the in a another month that will change. Nintendo while not perfect still deserves respect for making the industry into the giant it is today.

@GOGOHeadray @joshphillips True and I appreciate your response, but what game/console developer hasn't done that? The state of sales I can't argue with, but seeings how well the original Wii competed against the PS3 and 360 in the long run gives me hope that just like then the Wii U will succeed with the right types of software.

@songoku0206 @joshphillips @GOGOHeadray @DrKill09 @HonorOfGod True and I don't believe they haven't yet. I admit things that are proven wrong not based on opinions. Having a machine that doesn't run a graphics engine properly doesn't mean it's a poor machine. Within the first year of release every console in the last ten years has had bumps and it takes time for games to come out that help get those consoles over the bumps.

All egos aside being patient has always proved useful to me or I would have never played games like Twilight Princess or Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime or Uncharted, Killzone and Grand Turismo.

Being a fan of Nintendo doesn't make me a fanboy or nintendrone. My love for their creativity and excellent games makes me a fan of their games just like any console.

Whatever happened to mutual respect?

@fadersdream @Hvac0120 That's normal isn't it? Nintendo can't publish everything they want to see on the console and I don't blame them. How would that make sense/cents?
