@londenbridges05 @joshphillips I wasn't a fan of the first. Even though I love Platinum Games I just didn't care for Bayonetta much and I beat the game lol I'm glad the people that did though get the chance to play the second on the the Wii U.
I myself don't own a Wii U just yet. I'm waiting until after E3 and see some release dates.
@Chico86_basic @jer_1 I do realize that TP was ported, but to me the best version was the Wii version. The motion controls just fit perfectly. Using the bow both on foot and horse back, fishing and using the grappling hook were just so much fun to me. I do agree about Skyward. To much motion in that one lol
Still there's a leap there that third parties just aren't taking and I'll throw it back to your first point because you nailed it.
@jer_1 That's the problem. I'm not postive, but I'm thinking Nintendo would like to see fresh new material and ideas on their hardware. Why would they make their hardware so drastically different if they didn't? To me the only reason there is a wheel or a car is because they made it in the first place. I'm just wanting third parties to put some gas in the car and keep the wheels spinning.
Nintendo is probably if not the best known developer for first party games on the planet. Not because of how they utilize the power of the machine they create, but for the art direction and quality of gameplay in their games. Games like Twilight Princess out shined most games for me on PS3 or 360 or even PC at the time when it was released because it was expertly crafted. It's not their fault that other companies rarely follow suit. How about instead of making ports these third party companies create something new for a console that screams for it. While Nintendo tries to make a new experience for it's consumers other companies just want another machine to throw easy made ports on so they can make a fast buck.
I love Dice games like BF and BFBC, but that's two games that largly resemble each other and even use the same engines. I'm sure with half the money they spend on making an engine like that they could break off a chunk to create something entirely new for half the cost. They made Heros didn't they? Why not bring something like that to the Wii U? I'd play it. So I wish they'd stop complaining about power and specs and start re inventing their own ideas and style unless BF is the extent of their creativity?
