Hey guys !

A couple of months ago my good powersupply stopped working so i bought a cheap one to replace it 550watt.

Now the problem is... i don't have anough power cables.. I have 1 pci-e cable that i can use but thegraphics card needs 2.

I also have a atx 4 pin 12v free and 1 molex 4 pin daisy chained to my dvd. If i use an adapter to turn the atx 4 pin 12v into a molex and then use the two free molex into one pci-e cable (using 1 molex that is daisy chained and the other from an adapted atx 4 pin 12v into molex) ... would that work ?

Or am i doomed to either buy a new powersupply or buy the best graphics card i can get that needs only 1 pci-e power cable ( radeon 5770)

What do you guys think ?

I was just wondering, i want to upgrade a bit my computer.

Right now i have 2 gigs of ram of DDR2 5300. My motherboards says it supports ram up to DDR2 dual channel 8500.

Question:

Am i better off : A) adding 4 gigs of DDR2 5300 for a total of 6 gigs of ram

B) putting 2 slips of 2 gigs of ram of DDR2 dual channel pc8500 for a total of 4 gigs

What do you guys think ?

hey does that 5850 need to power connectors ? Is the Radeon 5850 power hungry too ? i think i have a 550 watt power supply :cry:

And do you think my motherboard would bottleneck all of this ? I only have PCI-expresse 1.1 (or 1.0) but not 2.0...

Hi everyone, im thinking of upgrading my PC so i can run Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 at full when they both come out.

Right now i have this setup:

Motherboard : Alivexfire-esata2 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=ALiveXFire-eSATA2%20R3.0)

Cpu: Athlon 64 x2 5600

Ram: 2 gigs of ram (ddr2 and probebly 800mhz)

Grahpics card : Evga geforce 8800 gts

Now i was thinking of buying a Phenom II 965 black edition (best cpu the motherboard will support) and adding 2 or 4 gigs of ram ( maybe this : http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4306216&Sku=P33-5094)

I might buy with all this a Evga geforce gtx 275 or a Radeon 4850x2 ? dunno really.. dunno if my power supply can handle it really.

Will my motherboard bottleneck the whole thing or will it upgrade nicely ?

Well one thing is for sure, im getting FFXIII and God of War 3 !!

But then i can't decide between Battlefield bad company 2, Yakuza 3 and heavy rain ! It's just nuts! Too many games!

The online of Battlefield looks awesome, the story of Heavy rain looks great and the open world beat em up genre of Yakuza looks fun.

What do you guys think ? What are you guys getting ?

Any one played Yakuza 3 ? Is it the same combo over and over or is it deep and fun ?

lol. You don't have to aim unless you're a sniper. For machine guns the reticle has an aim assist.

Hi everyone ! Im a big fan of manga's and anime but i own also a few graphic novels.

I have all kinds of book : Monster, Berserk, Akira, Nausicaa, Death Note etc !

I have also some american graphic novels : From Hell, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Promethea, The killing joke and Batman: The dark knight returns.

Now i was wondering is anyone had anything new to recommend me ? I have a couple of Vertigo books ( Fables) and im looking at more mature stories.

I know Vertigo is the MATURE line of DC Comics, does Marvel have a line like that too ? I read Sandman is soppose to be one of the best, does marvel have somethings it's equal ?

Just looking for some new stuff basically!

Paranoia Agent was pretty good but a bit confusing, alot of these recommandations ive seen or have it in Manga (Berserk, Deathnote)

Anyway seen Excel Saga or School Rumble ? any good in anime form or is manga better ?

Im looking for a new anime series, maybe a comedy or something since obviously im lacking in the comedy departement.

I was looking at either Excel Saga or School Rumble ? Anyone saw those and can recommand either one ? Is School Rumble much better in manga the anime ?

Any recommandations for a good Anime series is welcome :)
