At times you get emails from people that say they might be from Gamespot or another Company.  I just got a Email via my Gmail with this email 

 

 

I wanted to let you all know to watch for these.

Hey all, thanks for putting this petition together! While we totally understand your frustrations and disappointment about Unions going away, we are unfortunately unable to keep them around. BUT, I've looked into things, and what we CAN do is offer Union leaders the ability to have their Unions converted into a regular forum on the new site so that nothing's lost. You can find more details about this in the original post, which has been updated. Hello all

I wanted to share with you some Sad information about the Site Renovation.  if you haven't seen the Info that LarkAnderson Posted then check it out.  There is some stuff that is being Cut and the One thing that I am going to put Emphasis on is this

 1) Unions and User Created Boards

This may or may not be a surprise to you, but is not without good reason. Over the years we've had many proposed fixes for Unions, including a 100+ page document that was passed around internally, and the unfortunate reality is that we don't have the time or resources to dedicate to making these sorts of changes happen.

This is especially true when you take into consideration Union usage statistics--on a website that gets well north of 100 million pageviews a month, Unions contribute just over one quarter of one percent of that.

Now, obviously mistakes were made on our part, and the current usage stats are a reflection of that, but at the end of the day we need to make sure that we can properly maintain and support all of our features so we dont end up with things that are busted and unloved. To that end, we have decided to focus on our core features--the ones the vast majority of you guys depend on--and not to bring over Unions to the new GameSpot.

As for User Created Boards, there's a lot of crossover in terms of functionality between these and Unions, and without the one we won't have the other. Lark

 

I am quite sad about the News but, I understand that its in the best interest of the Site that if we don't have one then the other would be useless. . . I though don't want to see Gamespot lose alot of Users due to the loss of the Unions and User Created Boards.  MichaelP4 post a Thread in the Site Enhancement Forum called Save our Unions.  It is a Thread that I Strongly Support as most of you users that come to the site come to Visit the Unions.  Most of the time that is the Same for me cause Unions are really the only Fun part of the Site Next to Rewatching the Streams like Erick's Torture Chamber and Danny's Random Encounter

Guys I don't want to see any of you leave with the Loss of Unions.  I haven't heard anything on a Thing to Replace them so I feel that it could Possibly talked about during the Hangout

Well what do you guys know.  Something that I been wishing for the Many years on this site since I started after I became I think level 25 or so and well its true....I have Evolved into a Moderator and Ranger.  I cant believe it, But Synthia has made the Dream of me and I am sure the other Rangers come true.  The Rangers have evolved to level 2 as a Part of a Higher Community.  You shall still see us all around the board alot more and even be helping alot better. 

Congrats to all my Fellow Rangers :D

WE DID IT

I am so Happy I wanna 

Well two years ago when my Boy Scout Troop was planning a Camping trip to a State Park for a week campout I forget where and what State park but, We got to the State park and were driving in and Unloading our Stuff from the trucks and Setting up the Camp Site. 

At first we (myself and the other Troop Leaders) scooped the surrounding area to see if there was anything that we had to keep our Scouts away from for the Week.  We unpacked all our Gear setup our Tents and Put our Personal Gear away in our tents and then Started with a Nice small hike (50 miles...yes I know its really not a small hike but still) through the woods to show our Scouts the wonders of Nature and how Peaceful and Tranquil the Forest is.  We saw so many wonderful things like a Beaver family building there Home and even a eagle or two (I forget).  After we got back to our Campsite it was getting near Dinner time so we started prepping our Meal and the Scouts started prepping there Patrol meals for dinner.  We had 3 Patrols the Blazing Arrow Patrol who made a nice and easy Spaghetti and Meatballs, the Soaring Eagles who made a Turtle Burger (Hamburger with Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Peppers with 5 hotdog ends on them to make it look like a Turtle) and the Viking Patrol our More Experienced Patrols made Chicken Parm Subs with Salad on the Side.  The Leaders made some Turkey with Stuffing was very delicious.  So after we all ate our dinners we Gathered the Patrols together and had them work on some of there Rank up requirements and during the time we thought we heard something in the woods watching us so we took a look around and found nothing.

After we did all that we had everyone prep for bed and so did we and then around idk say 2 or 3 am I heard a Scream coming from one of the Scouts and Looked outside to see a Black Bear around the kids tent and so I got up grabbed the First thing nearest me which was a Axe and went towards the bear as Quiet as I possibly could and scared the bear away.  We learned in the next 30 minutes that the scouts that were in the tent where the bear was had Strawberry Poptarts (OPENED) and they didn't think the warning that we gave them before going to bed was true as we hung all the food in a Bag up in the trees to Prevent anything from getting at it.

I still can't believe how I was scared SHITLESS and thought that I was going to die while I approached the bear with the axe in my hand.  But everything Turned out okay and the west of the week went off without many Complications.

2 years Later and the troop is down to 2 patrols or maybe 3 still (I don't know anymore) but they have all learned a Important lesson which was be Advised to the Warning given by the Leaders of the Troop

 

Well I have evolved up a Rank again

I am now Level 45 the Mishima Zaibatsu 

From the Research that I did.  Mishima Zaibatsu came from the Wiki I gathered here

 

The Mishima Zaibatsu formerly known as Tekken Zaibatsu/Tekken Corporation (name changed after Jinpachi Mishima lost the Zaibatsu to his son). It was owned originally by Jinpachi Mishima, but the Zaibatsu was taken over by Heihachi Mishima, who has run the company for over 40 years, except for two brief interims. The companies grouped together in the syndicate include the Mishima Financial Empire, the mercenary group known as Tekken Force, and Mishima Industries. The Mishima Zaibatsu is the main sponsor of The King of Iron Fist Tournaments, the central events of the video games. In Tekken 5, Jinpachi Mishima regained control of the Mishima Zaibatsu. However, Jinpachi was defeated by Jin Kazama during The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, and Jin gained control of the Zaibatsu.

So I have Ranked Up to a Mishima Zaibatsu lol

Hey all Today I am going to be talking about A very old Super Mario Game that was released for the SNES 

Super Mario RPG - Legend of the 7 Stars

Now first of all I want to ask this to all the people that see my blog - Have you ever played this game before when it was released and does it remind you of a few other games in the Super Mario Series.  Paper Mario, Paper Mario & The Thousand Years Door, Super Paper Mario

All these games have in common is that they all Required you as Mario to gather 7 stars to be able to beat the game.  From this game Super Mario RPG Legend of the 7 Stars carried on to Paper Mario as he had to go all over Mushroom Kingdom to Rescue the 7 star Spirits - Sorry for Crappy image it was the best one that Matched from in the Game

then Came Paper Mario and the 1000 Year Door where Mario had to go all over RoguePort and the other areas to get the 7 Crystal Stars - 

Beating Boss after Boss to get the 7 stars that would open the 1000 year Door releasing the Evil that is Shadow Queen the leader of the Shadow Sirens and the Big Trouble that Befalled RoguePort long ago

Now with Super Paper Mario I have noticed that they changed from Stars to Hearts.  Where Mario and the Gang had to go from Flipside and Flopside to go through 7 different Demensions that would get himt he 7 Hearts that would Unlock the Gate to the World of Count Bleck which 1st stole Luigi, Bowser and Princess Peach in order to make the Chaos Heart -

The Chaos heart was the Doom Bringer of the Super Paper Mario Game which was stopped by the 4 of them + tippi and the rest of the Pixel Team.  

From the 1st game to the Current Super Mario Game that is Following the Sequence I didn't at all realise how much alike they were unless you really think about it.  So int he Short Version I feel that the 4 Generations of the Games from Super Mario RPG the Legend of the 7 Stars to Super Paper Mario for the 7 Crystal Hearts are all the same type of Game.  Same Line of work just to rescue different Demensions from different Foes.  Great Games, Alot of fun.  Worth Playing if you have them all.

Hey Guys I hope you enjoyed your E3.  I know i did watching the E3 twitch Chants, and the Gamespot chats.  I like to thank Both the US Community Manager Synthia and Edward one of the UK Video Producers for Promoting me to Twitch.tv mod for Gamespot Twitch and on the Stage 2 E3

 

My Favorite e3 moments were: 

= Watching the users post : ASCII Penis's and ASCII Troll Faces we had to go Subscriber Level Chat even tho everyone could see what we were planning,  We still outfoxed them

= Watching the 4 Conferences and Enjoying them all here is how I had to see the ranks for who lost and who 1

- 1st place - SONY

- Last place - The Rest of them

- Not in Running Place - Nintendo

= Enjoying everyone go Nutz over the Stage Shows and the Live Cam.  It was alot of Fun

I have also been speaking with Synthia via Steam and been Discussing me becoming a Ranger

I have been Brought on to the Team but the Ranger making tool is broken so My Tag and emblem will not be given til most likely tomorrow or Wednesday :)

I am Glad to join the Rank of Gamespot Ranger and maybe one day the Rank of Gamespot Moderator
