Glad to hear they are finally going to crystalize the value of their assets. That sentence definitely means something that makes sense to someone.

Edit: Oops. Turns out "crystalize" is an actual term used in the finance world. Hopefully people who know more about this shit than I do think it's a good idea.

@dominicwow: It would be hard to fill those shoes, but Larian laid the groundwork for whoever comes next. They at least wouldn't be starting from scratch.

Dang. Monolith was a solid studio that's been around for decades, and Player First made a good Smash clone that was mucked up C-Suite suits trying to "monetize" it. Hate to see good teams killed off over bad calls made at a higher pay grade.

@BKO3000: Folks need to learn that the number at the end is the least important part of the review. What matters is "why", hence all the words up above it.

I'm surprised V is the best seller. Things really bounced back after the initial negative reaction.

As for the movie, comedy is probably the way go. Street Fighter lore is too stupid to take seriously.

@nintendians: Yeah, CoD would have been redundant for EA. Guitar Hero was a big miss, but they ended up with Rock Band anyway. I suppose Blizzard would have done them some good for a bit, but they probably would have run it into the ground by now.

Bah! For a split second I thought they announced a new Twisted Metal. I mean, I'm glad the show exists, Sony at least has some interest in the franchise... but this is not the Twisted Metal I was hoping for.
