Glad to see this. Most of the Legacy of Kain series can be tricky to get running properly on modern hardware, and the first Soul Reaver especially is on my "games I will make my kids play" list.

I never played WoW, but this review convinced me to watch this. The story was just as beautiful as you described. Thank you.

It really was a big risk considering how fast the 3DO and Jaguar crashed and burned. I don't want to discredit the hard work and careful planning Sony did, but they also got lucky. Things could have turned out very different if Sega and Nintendo hadn't both made so many questionable choices that generation.

@mogan: Yeah. Lord of the Rings is one of the few instances where I think the movies are better than the books.

@neometal89: I mean, Deadpool and Wolverine just came out and had co-lead of both of those archetypes. Plus, we recently got The Bee Keeper, Bad Boys, Road House, Rebel Ridge, The Killers Game, and I know The Crow is supposed to be shit, but it happened too.

Honestly, the only other girl-boss led movie coming to me is Rebel Moon. Furiosa had a girl, but she barely spoke. Spent the movie trying to survive and escape a string of bad situations she kept getting stuck in. Not much bossing in that.
