Ok, here is the thing, i dont wanna call myself a "fanboy" cuz that is an ugly word, but i do prefer the PS3 over anything else right now. LittleBigPlanet is the most anticipated game ever for me.
Having said that...I wish the game could be on as many systems as possible, just so everyone can enjoy this awesome title.
First of all, there is a storyline. it may not be as intricate as most games, but it does have one. Second, story isnt the point, the point is to have fun and be creative with your friends. Littlebigplanet is all about expressing yourself through creating levels.
Littlebigplanet is all about user created content...just think of Youtube in videogame terms. you create the level, people play your levels, rate them, leave comments, and you do the same.
Monster Rancher is an evil game. I blame the death of at least two of my PS2's on that game. I remember sitting with 100's of CD's going through each trying to get cool monsters. As cool as that game is I'm not willing to give my PS3 loader that kind of workout. I'd prefer if they sold disc fragments on PSN.emitsu97
Good point, since the PS3 has a motorized loader it would probably be a bit harder on it.
you put a cd/dvd in the PS1 or PS2 when you are at the "Shrine" and it spawns a monster. no i dont watch digimon. i dont watch anything...i play games and work.

Monster Rancher was a lot like Pokemon, but about 100x better. You could insert a CD (Or DVD depending on which game) and the disc would spawn a monster that you could raise and train to battle in tournaments. It was a lot of fun. If you find Monster Rancher 2 or 4 pick them up.
Hey everyone, I was just thinking how awesome a new monster rancher would be with the technology that is out there. Not only could you fit TONS of monsters on a Blu-ray, but with DLC you could always add more. Plus, in addtition to CDs and DVDs, you could now use Blu-ray discs to unlock monsters.
I did some research and can't find if Tecmo has a new M.R. game in the works, but if anyone has any insight let me know!
I think Insomniac and Sony are trying too hard, this is too much imo. Do people actually read the pages of documets?

That website was actually quite awesome, to shun them for doing so it basically saying you don't like it when they think outside of the box which is saying every game should be Pong.
I agree, you can never have too much marketing IMO...you dont have to look at it if you dont want to, but complaining about it just doesnt make any sense. They want the game to do well, and it will be amazing, im getting more and more stoked every day.
