Hmm i play WOW currently i raid every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursady and Sunday. Before i go Raiding im at work i get Home put WOW on and wait for a Raid to start any other time im out on the Town with my mates or playing footie (Recently not as much as i would like)! moderation is the KEY never forget that WOW is a good game bar addicts and what not!
I dont see the porblem with having a dream... But the people who wish they could grow up to create games dont actually realise the amount of hard work and dedication that gose into them. I think being a game tester would be what most people imagine it to be. As far as i can tell Games are much like a Magazine you have deadlines that you must meet and tight time limits, 12 Hour shifts included. But regarding this i dont think evryone here whats to grow up to create games and the guys who do may well realise its not all that great all the time.
Naked Snake lol so people who make games are kids ? You know how much time effort, design, Art, gose into one of these games? Sigh why make such petty comments! ? Bitter man..... Anyhow Halo has evolved very well over time and the Halo 1 to Halo 2 Screens show how much of a difference getting to grips with a particular consoles Hardware and Software can make. I must say im not like OMG while looking at the Halo 3 Graphics but what do i know.. Nothing i havent even played it yet i know this much tho if its got large open ended levels with lots of enemys and the ability to run at a good FPS with the Graphics i can see here then im immpressed.
Well you fail to metion Lifts in games. Think about it from Doom to World of Warcraft (Undercity), Lifts have been a constant pain. They squash you when you dont realise that the carrige is in fact above you still, they cause clipping, game crashes, and general chaos. Another pet hate of mine are ladders! One of the only games to actually do ladders well that i have played is Fear. Getting up a ladder on some games can be a pain in the butt and result in more deaths than the actual enemys inflict on you. As a matter of fact while playing Doom 3 recently i tried to go through the game without dying, i think i ended up falling from a ladder and dying halfway through. Maybe its just me lol but i have always found Lifts in particular to me boring and rarther dangerouse places on Computer games. Another thing you fail to mention is the lack of effort on the part of some devs like releasing Oblivion for the PC in a state of disrepair!
_xs_ The only problem is that most of us here want to play the latest PC games and the only way we can do that is by getting Vista....Well as far as i know thats the only OS with DX10?
SolidSnake35 Good one.....Plenty of free Firewalls and Anti Virus Software for Windows. I use AVG and Sygate FW at the mo. As for Vista give it a while yet........
Well i got NN2 running great now. No Shadows but other than that its all good! Great game reminds me of Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate really glad i got this now. villainmitch this game is great and on a different level to lol Zelda which is at the end of the day a goddamn hack and slash adventure made for children. Oh yeah the whole console is for children or small dicked eastern guys.
