These aren't your average run of the mill hackers. These are people who have plagued PC piracy for not only games but music and movies. They find it fun hacking and cracking stuff. iPhone OS released? Boom, 24 hours later there is a jailbreak. And I'm sure that many people here preaching against hackers have jailbroken iPhones. Unless Sony opens up the PS3 to homebrew and whatnot, the war has only just begun. Why would Sony open the PS3 to homebrew? That is like if a hoodlum is beating on your car window trying to break in, and you unlock it for him so that he can drive away with your car without breaking your window. Yeah, your window isn't broken, but you gave the car thief exactly what he wanted, and now you don't have a car so it doesn't even matter if your window is broken. WP7 opened up because of the homebrew community. There comes a point when a company realizes "Gee, there are thousands of these guys cracking all our stuff in hours. Maybe we should hear what they have to see." Apple continues to ignore jailbreaking. Perhaps Sony will adopt a Apple stance and just ignore jailbreakers.[QUOTE="k0r3aN_pR1d3"][QUOTE="_SWAG_"]
