To me that sounds like usual PC - Console price differences, plus console gets all DLC and the original game. Doesn't seem much of a milking strategy....

I don't see it as an issue. Both consoles probably have a cap for DLC space and the expansion will cost 40$ on console, which is 10$ over the PC version. I can understand people might be annoyed, but it's not like the single expansion on console would have cost any less without the original game plus previous DLC in it.

@OniLordAsmodeus Give it time... I don't think it'll be an immediate hit, but it's a foundation for the future. :)

@GunEye It hasn't been released to the public as of yet, but there are devs already with a developer kit. So far, the only thing we've seen are developers experimenting with it. One of the most interesting is the space combat mod for EVE made by CCP.

I think this was the chance for this technology, I'm unsure if this will be relevant for the future gen judging how the industry moves. Of course, the popularity of VR devices will weigh heavily on this tech.

On another case, I don't quite get what would be so expensive about this tech from a consumer point of view (apart from the proyector), but definitely not a big loss.

@Miroku_of_Nite1 They could have done that without funding. Their idea was to flesh out a high end adventure.
In any case, it's not like designing a game is a catwalk.
