@rotkiv Most franchises they invested on had poor sales (or at least not as good as expected), with rare exceptions... but uDraw finished them off. I still hope someone picks up the Darksiders franchise. I really cannot understand how that IP has not been purchased already...
@cuddlyfuzzle @2bitSmOkEy Absolutely. It's got some issues, and the shooting sections are very forgettable, but the core investigation gameplay is very different to anything else you might have played.
Hate to say it, but despite the moderate success of L.A. Noire, Team Bondi has been riddled with inside problems and controversies. I can only understand why publishers are cautious.
@Drilbit777 @kagento @unwell-7 @sirmoein I don't think 4 ruined it. I still think it's one of the greatest of its' generation. 5 is when it really started going downhill. I play RE4 today and still find it a much better game than RE5 (probably 6 as well but haven't played it yet).
@unwell-7 @kagento @sirmoein As in the original. The clunkiness of character movement was one of the things that made the game what it is. It's true that I don't think you could get away with that nowadays...
