Well, all of this certainly sounds exciting! I am a bit disappointed about the idea that Skyrim would be getting the remastery, and not Oblivion, or even Morrowind!
Two games that I would love to play over Skyrim, and the game that I would have the least amount of fun in gets the special treatement... Disappointing.
@StaticPenguin: Just because it's "Multiplayer", doesn't mean you have to necessarily play with other people.
It's pretty much what I have been doing, rather than play with people I play on my own. It can get rather teedious, but it's a better choice than playing in a public lobby with a bunch of people who have no sense of survival... Or have any humanity.
@cornbredx: On the contrary, I didn't have any expectations or emotional baggage for this game. Horror games are not my thing, so the game being cancelled isn't a horrible thing in my eyes.
I can't say though that I don't want to see people going around saying that the game is sucky just because they can, without any exemplary reasoning behind it.
@BovineDivine: When it shows nothing but contempt and the only thing you can say about a cancelled game is "wasn't scary".
Also, I thought that it would be a well-known fact by now that no idea in the world is original. It is really hard at this point in time to stay original (You can have some original ideas and designs, but the templates are very much going to remain that same no matter what).
@Warlord_Irochi: Gamers are pretty fickle when it comes to it.
"Oh, it is a game that looks similar to another game that got cancelled, I HOPE IT DIES!" I mean come on... if a game that got cancelled looked really good, and there would be a spiritual successor following it, chances are people would get really excited for it.
I personally don't really feel that bummed out as horror games are not my cup of pepsi, but I can still see it as a disappointment since there is no doubt that there would be a lot of people getting it.
@teaspoon2424: I like how people are calling people who like Blizzard games "Blizzard Fanboys", but I then have a smug smile that allows me to call you a "Blizzard Hater", arguably a more annoying person since they would hate anything just because it has Blizzard's name on it. Now, let me correct you:
Diablo 3 launched in a bad state, but got itself back on it's feet with the release of Reaper of Souls, and even then it patched out most of the bad stuff and recieves patches with decent stuff with it (Although it inevitably comes down to being a game of grind, but then again many Action RPG's have grind in them)
Heroes of the Storm in itself is a much more enjoyable MOBA game, since it relieves people the stress of having to "Master" every bit and piece of a general MOBA game. It may not be complex or "Challenging" with complexity, but there is still skill involved in the game, only of a more team-focused skill rather than individual skill (Not saying that individual skill isn't needed, but it is not the sole focus)
Hearthstone may not exactly be the best game, yes, since it feels like a Pay to Win game where you need gimmick decks to get the best out of the game, and to get gimmick cards you need to spend a lot of gold, or pay a bunch of money. Then again, that is kind of how card games are designed, really. Other than that, the game itself is solid, if you look past that.
Regarding World of Warcraft... I have mixed opinions, actually. I play the game regularly (Unsubscribed recently though, need time to prepare for Legion, which is shaping up quite nicely), and I like how people like to rag on the game with "Oh it has never been good since Wrath of the Lich King"... I disagree: I actually think that Early Cataclysm up to mid-Cataclysm, WoW was living it's high point. Then it fell apart slowly... So to correct you, it hasn't been good since mid-Cataclysm.
