I don't think Harrison Ford should be going on set, I mean do you even know how old he is? I mean he is a good actor and all, but come on! Having a grandpa go and do intense action scenes is just too much for the old clock! (Yes I know that they have stunt doubles on set, but come off it.)

@xolivierx: Borderlands had human enemies that didn't die to a headshot either, and people still praise that game for being a good RPG Shooter game, your point about The Division not being realistic because enemies don't die in one gunshot to the head is rather moot (Think of it like this: If an RPG was "Realistic" with headshot=Death, then people would hate it because it would be too easy)

The gun rewards may not exactly be very exciting, it mostly being an added stat boost, but I feel like the point of an RPG game is to grind for the biggest baddest weaponry and be the most powerful overlord of them all. Then again, that might just be me.

And to answer your question: Making an analogy with cake to a videogame is like making an analogy with a buffalo to a penguin. It makes no sense.

And I am not defending The Division because I would be in denial or a fanboy of Ubisoft (I only bought three games from them), but I am defending it because either the cons that people make are rather daft considering the genre of the game, or are trying to convince people that the game is bad in some very stupid ways. I am having a good amount of fun with the game, even managed to dying a couple of times, mainly because I am playing on the Hard difficulty.

@BigFeef: I very much agree with this! Playing the open beta (Demo, for the technicallities for some people) left me feeling like there won't be much variety, but I can safely say that there is some variety. Not exactly sure where the critisizm of "Bad AI" comes from, I feel threatened by them quite often... Well... For the most part, they aren't exactly very smart after I shoot them in the head with a Marksman Rifle a couple of times, but for the most part they flank you about, the grenadiers grenade you, and the Cleaners are pretty much unpleasant if you try to give them a hug.

Pretty sure lot of people seem to harp on this, because it is a Tom Clancy game it should be authentic, headshots counting for a lot and whatnot, and they seem to disregard the idea that this is an RPG game, that just happens to have Tom Clancy's name on it, and I... Have to be honest I don't get why people say "I am having a really hard time playing this game and taking it seriously because it's not so realistic for a Tom Clancy game". It's an RPG, if it was realistic, it would either be really easy or really hard, depending who is giving the headshots.

@dwicklund1992: Metacritic is bullcrap, that works on a really out of date method of "The more famous a critic is, the more value he has", which in all honesty is absolute junk, which left Pain & Gain in the red/yellow, along with The Hobbit just because people expected too much from The Hobbit, and because Michael Bay directed Pain & Gain. Those are just two examples why Metacritic is worthless.

Which in turn, invalidates your comment.

@Revl8n: IT. IS. NOT. MICROTRANSACTIONS.

If there was a currency that you buy with real money to buy boosts, gear and who knows what else, then yes, that would be considered as a microtransaction. Two packs that include costumes is NOT exactly a microtransaction.

Gamespot is just being an asshole by misinterpriting it so they can stirr a honeypot and get more views.

And there goes my comment, chances are one of the Gamespot editors will delete my comment for calling out Bullwiffle, it already happened once (Remember Aim Down Sights? That stupid Call of Duty promotional show? Yeah I got banned and my comment deleted because I called out one of the guests for being pretty much a bimbo from Youtube that stuffed herself in to a dufflebag)

I wonder if Kevin Spacey also took up to gaming after playing so many games in this show.

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if that is how he would be passing his time... In that case: I want to play The Division with Kevin Spacey! I am afraid that if I were to go to the Dark Zone with him, he will go turncoat and shoot me in the back, taking all of the sweet loot and be very smug about it afterwards.

@WuShogun212: *takes a breath to send a wall of text at you, then hesitates*

You know, you are right. I hate to admit it most of the time but the people who are able to take a nice big slice of green pie really did succeed in getting that demographic to follow them around.

But I am more concerned as to why on Earth is this kind of article on this website, as I am pretty sure that it is just another garbled up clickbait article with no artistic integrity behind it.

@hughesyboozy: Writer of the article being an ass because he wants to stirr a honeypot full of individuals who would have a problem with a microtransaction.

@xzerocarnagex: As Jim Sterling said: If you are someone who says that the microtransactions are optional, then you are the sucker that the devs are hoping to rake in.

... I will be honest I think the same way, optional costumes aren't exactly horrible as long as they are fairly priced or are varied enough. Only problems I do have is when there are microtransaction type of services that give you shortcuts in the game, as it is rather malicious how they are presented.

"Having problems getting somewhere? Yes? Well why not pay some money for it? Oh you don't want to buy it? Okay I will leave it hanging here if you change your mind"

Basically it's malicious as it is beating down on you, testing your resolve, seeing if you will crack under the pressure, as all it desires is your cold hard kash.
