@IAMTYLERDURDEN I don't know if you mean that as like "You're bad for thinking otherwise" but what I say is my opinion: GTA4 looked like a mess with the combat, then cover-based shooting (vs. San Andreas' Run and Gun shooting, sure it may not have been a viable tactic in some respects but at least it was possible, not like in GTA4) and it's rather bad driving.
Also there is no PC version for it so if you will need me...I will be at Watch Dogs and Saints Row 4 if you need me...Yes...I will play Saints Row 4 because I enjoy seeing out of the whack crazyness...Why? Because I play games to be amused, not to be un-amused
Simply told: GTA4 was ugly and wasn't fun, If GTA5 will be like GTA4 then it can go to hell...At least Watch Dogs and Saints row 4 are coming out for PC so...Rockstar...You better make a move on it
@stan_boyd @kalgert123 Well I would say it's because it took itself WAAAAY to seriously
Combat felt clunky, I never could've beaten up a bunch of people without falling flat on my ass against the first guy
It was more cover-based shooting rather the run and gun type of shooting
Driving felt like you driving a car that had another car strapped on to it
Also it looked horrible, San Andreas looked better than it and it was a pretty old-ish game...If you ask me San Andreas is the go-to game for Rockstar to try and establish a GTA game
I am skeptical...After GTA4 I have doubts that Rockstar can deliver on a good game
A trailer is a trailer, it can make a game look magnificent or it can make it look terrible, so I will not judge a game by it's trailer, the trailers ain't so bad, but I won't call it the greatest game on the planet just by a really nice hillbilly, rich-man and gangster trailers, from what I see: This guy is wild, the rich guy is in a mid-life crysis and the gangster's a gangster...And all of them are middle-aged people who probably shouldn't be allowed a gun
This may not be a real Call of Duty trailer yet, but it's still something that will make me and anyone with a working mind say "Well this will be dumb mindless shooting...Again"
Every single CoD is the same thing, only different guns and a new patch of paint, also the black ops 2 DLC commercials with the "Replacements" people...Yeah...They are clearly marketing things for the stupid people demographic..
@rann89 @kalgert123 @BiffMgriff Uhm....Sorry? Then again you are talking about a game that people will anyway say "Oh well I will go with GTA5" just because GTA5 is GTA5, if it were any other crime game people will still put up some debate on "Is this better than GTA5?" because people are hyping up a game just because they saw a trailer...Get my point?
@BiffMgriff GTA5 is overrated, what makes GTA soooo much superior than this? Do tell me, for as much as I see GTA5 has:
3 cliche guys
Bank heists (Eh)
A really nice scenery (Watch Dogs also has a nice scenery)
And..I can't think of anything else, while Watch Dogs has:
A guy who is a Vigilante with a raincoat and a hat.
The ability to control technology with god's cellphone which he probably stole from.
And a big city, we all love big cities.
You know...Why don't you just sit down, go to Steam and wait for both GTA5 and Watch Dogs to come out and....Wait for it...PLAY BOTH GAMES! Because I sure will play both, also GTA5 comes out in September while Watch Dogs comes out in November, plenty of time for you to play GTA5, finish it and then wait for Watch Dogs to come out so you can play as the guy who stole Jezus Christ's I-phone and then wreak havoc on a city full of crime, and if you aren't gonna go with that plan then well...Enjoy your little GTA5 then because it sure as hell left a rotten mouth after GTA4, the horrible piece of garbage game that was...
@AverageGameJoe You know, Grand Theft Auto 5 isn't even that special if you take a close look at it, it does look flashy and all but let's be honest: Watch Dogs looks a lot more fascinating than GTA 5
