It feels great to see game like this, i feel like storytelling is kinda getting left behind nowadays, and frankly, sometimes storytelling is the most important part of the game, after all games can be a form of art too. Thanks Naughty Dog.
This is absolutely right but what i want most is the compelling storytelling, and i don't care about lots of long cutscenes. The story of the series is, in my opinion, it's strongest point. The ending in MGS4 was probably the best ending i have ever seen in a game.
This guy said exactly what i think. No i don't want to pay 5 bucks to get a new skin for my character and a new weapon or vehicle. Take the add-on for Oblivion for example, that is the way to do a dlc. Instead of forcing us useless stuff they worked to give us an expansion with 30+ hours of gameplay (yeah i know, the horsearmor was fail but nonetheless...). How about stop with "dlc" and give us expansions?
If you take anything that is "unproductive" as a waste of time, then you aren't living life as it is supposed to. People tend to forget the value of just doing things that make you happy.
This game is easily going to be one of the best games in this year. And the possibility of restarting the mission just to try a different, and maybe cooler approach just makes the twisted pleasure of Hitman better.
@killip I agree completely, the story is absolutely done, now it is pretty obvious they are milking it, truly a sad destiny to an awesome saga that simply didn't need another game.
Kojima is my favorite producer and stuff, the Metal Gear series is no doubt my favorite ever but this Revengeance simply didn't get my attention, it simply isn't MGS.
Really? Things seemed pretty done in the end of GOW3 , not that i'm not happy about a new installment, just hope they don't milk the franchise and it ends up becoming the new Call of Duty.
