I don't know this 4k thing doesn't seem right. Sure it will be great for huge as tvs but most of us gamers play at home sitting on the couch so i do think that 4k is highly unnecessary. Also i doubt games will use it's full potential, we aren't even using the full potential on 1080p yet.
@kohle36 @TheeRevolver Actually Ezio is a nice character. Sure the characters and story are not as deep as say, in MGS . Also if Tom Clancy and Brown are so bad, explain to me their success. I mean, Dan Brown pulled of a couple best sellers already and several game franchises carry Tom Clancy's name, including the great Splinter Cell series.
@Ayzed I agree. Recently as we are seeing a shortage of good games this year i bought "Singularity" and gotta say, it surprised me, real solid, actually has content besides mindlessly shooting down people without even knowing what is your objective. Just because the game is FPS doesn't mean it can't have a good story
@fightingfish18 New section suggestion for gamespot: The jackasses at EA, a weekly post informing us of the newest deluded quotes of EA's silly employees.
@liamnich88 exactly, it is sad to admit but what one day was one of the best gaming companies today is constantly disrespecting their customers and insulting our intelligence. And for what? To make more and more money. I miss the time when it was all about quality.
@Falru @Vari3ty actually there are a lot of "pay-to-win" and 'pay-to-play" games but there is still true free to play games like LoL (sure you can pay but i never put a cent on it and still enjoy it a lot). I have no problem in paying for a game if it attracts me with actual content, not some cheap-ass new weapon for .99$ or a forced multiplayer.
Why EA has a hard-on for F2P? Stop trying to force it on us. Sure probably it will get more popular but it won't overtake the current model, i don't get why they can't think of the possibility of normal retail and F2P co-existing. EA cares less and less about quality for their customers. Not criticizing F2P but what happens to AAA games? They realistically expect devs to put a buttload of work in a game to make it F2P? No, people need money and i'm ok with that.
