And I can remember when they were laughing at M$ for not adding a full BC when the 360 launched. $ony is so f* hypocrite ! ... Thankfully I got a used 60gig while ago.
Chromehounds is a crappy imitation and Armored Core is rather arcade. Mechwarrior was more about the sim side, and yeah that kinda robust open-ended game would be a dream and a total seller for any system it would appear on (I would even buy a pc with quad SLI to play this) ... I would also add a robust online component to the equation ... ahh, I wish someone from game industry would read it and decided, YES, THATS GONNA BE OUR NEXT 360 MEGA-PRODUCTION ... : )
Even before the launch of the PS3 I was doing some architecture analysis on both platforms, and it terms of power 360 and PS3 are roughly the same. One excels a bit in one field and the other in different, but its not even noticeable for a casual person. For examp. PS3 got a bit faster GPU and a bit more powerful CPU (on the other hand its complexity consumes much processing power), but a lot poorer memory design. On the flip-side PS3s got blue ray. Anyway, one thing is a fact, we can all laugh from Sony's promotion (like those slogans on E3 1 or 2 yrs ago, that the PS3 is the "real high def", that it will wipe the 360 from the face of the earth and other bull **** like that), but on the other hand, I own a 360 and a PS3, and thats a fact.
Well, that was one of my beloved series on a PC, why did they stopped it ??????? :(((((( 1) it was a Microsoft game 2) all the parts were awsome (especially 4) 3) this game doesn't have any competition so it would be a clear winner 4) they didn't extend the topic much, so there is a lot of space to improve, evolve etc. They should make the next Mech Warrior for the 360 PERIOD. : )
Well first of all, I would like to see a new Mech Warrior game ... I so loved this series (as well as the whole universe) and previous titles were done by Microsoft, I cant understand why they wont make a new awsome one on a 360, it would be a blast. Other game is Crysis, no really, I think they can optimize it to run just fine on a 360 architecture.
Has anyone seen anything more on VS than just crappy screenshots from a cut-scene ? I haven't and I would like to : ) any videos ? action ? anything ? From what I've seen from FFXIII i don't know what to think, I would like to believe that it would be ... well good. At least as good as X, not to mention VII, but Im afraid that they will mess it up, and won't deliver "that" feeling, story and overall charm that the roots of this lovely series are known for. Yes, nothing beats VII, although I would like to hope that actually they will menage to bring out something even better.
