This, but on 99% of the games. So far, Ive had problems playing Overlord and WWEvsSmackdown 2009. The rest of the games have had no issues.

Ohh well, might as well get it now :D Was waiting for this update. But still, I must defend GS USA review of the game. Gamespot UK better have a personal review though as they are receiving the real deal.

Its like with STALKER CS. The game released flawed, and the reviewer MUST take notice on that. So, I still see GS review as correct.

the enemy response to weapon-fire is really lame? Even when killing weak enemies in a couple of headshots as a Spec Op, I felt like I was just plunking them with a potato gun. I'm not talking about the actual damage output of the weapons being bad (although the amount of fire some of the bosses can take is questionable), I just mean the feedback from enemies I was supposedly unleashing hell on left something to be desired.

Don't get me wrong, I played co-op mode for like 5 hours straight on Saturday and had a great time. Very fun game so far. And I've never played the first Resistance. But I just felt like enemies should at least recoil or even flinch a little when I'm unloading an automatic weapon across their entire body.

Anyone else feel the same or have an opinion on the matter?

I think you are more of a realistic FPS gamer. This is an Arcade FPS, normally in this games the enemies have more HP, and if they are aliens, the headshot only means double damage nothing more. Not to mention that the bigger the team in coop, the more HP they have.

The same goes with Gears of War, which is an arcade TPS, Locust there take almost a full clip of the Lancer to kill (headshots) on Hardcore.

The more rep you have, the less likely they are to start firing at you on the checkpoints. But it doesnt mean that they wont.

For instance it works like this. You have a high rep, you cross a checkpoint and you will see them looking at you like in a warning state, but they wont fire, if you stay put in the checkpoint for to long, they will. It works, but not quite as well.

Ugh, I got the game for the PC today, got to play a couple of hours already. Talk about bad all around. Its Oblivion with a new skin, no kidding nor lying here. The attempts at 3rd person combat are also bad and extremely annoying as they work like crap.

The game is just boring for those who played Oblivion, but if you havent, I guess you can find joy in this turd.

Its not that good. It has standard reactions to situations. It wont do "Wow" things. Though I have yet to see an AI good enough to impress me. The highest rated games for all consoles, including PC have standard AI (MGS 4, Crysis, Halo, etc). They act on pre established commands, and do nothing fancy to avoid turning something that could be simple into an infuriating situation. They normally "increase" the AI by actually increasing the damage or accuracy they have, which is a fake increment. In most games if they are in the open, they will rather shoot than take cover, even if you are about to run over them with the biggest vehicle in the game.
