Man. Then it seems that they are going to use the brand's name and create a completely different game. Well, I mean this is cheating, isn't it. This reminds me of when they decided to gradually replace Tomb Raider's Lara Croft with another, male protagonist and it turned to a flop. So better start and create a whole new thing instead of using the well known popular franchise name
I am a devoted Sam Fisher fan. My favorite is Pandora Tommorow but all SC games were mega fun und entertaining. Well the last one was kind of out of the row but still amazing. Pity Michael Ironside is not the voice actor anymore but then Sam doesn't even look like himself after Conviction as well. Now that I think about it, the serie seem to only bear the same name and has not all that much to do with the original game.
@ Verne: Well the Rannoch end level boss of course. The giant laser beaming one. It was really hard to defeat it and this certain walkthrough was not a big help, so I checked wiki and found some useful tips. There was no chance that I could beat the boss without tips from wiki.
@liam72 Man! I am overwhelmed:D not only you mentioned Kenneth Anger in your post but you are also familiar with the works of Chantal Akerman and Barbara Hammer:D Sally Potter is also good.
I really liked the idea of the freedom of choosing the gender of you romantic relationship in Mass Effect games. Though I remember this kind of approach also in much older games like early Fallouts. You would go to a bordello and she would say I don't give this kind of service to a woman:P There are also perks in the new Fallouts in which you can be a charmer to woman. As for showing sexual relationship in video games in general, the first time I encountered it was in Fahrenheit and I felt kind embarrassed :? It was kind of out the place though in other games like GTA SA is passed well to the total concept and fitted well.
