FurMark is meant to stress the GPU to 100% load. What kind of case and case air flow do you have?

Why NVIDIA or AMD/ATI? ISV programmers can treat the GpGPU like SIMD/VLIW device e.g. DirectX Compute Shaders, ATI Stream, NV CUDA, OpenCL.ronvalencia
Why WOULDN'T they? With this software you don't need powerful video cards and CPUs now. You would just about need some low to mid range hardware. This would easily cut down on the demand for high end $500 components if all gamers needed for ultra graphics quality was a $75 CPU and a $80 GPU.
Search algorithms can be made to on run GpGPUs. For example http://www.geek.com/articles/news/kapersky-labs-releases-gpu-anti-virus-that-runs-360x-faster-than-on-core-2-duo-cpu-20091215/I think you missed the whole point on my post.[QUOTE="kilerchese"]
If this ever becomes a reality, DX API's won't really matter any more.

As in, if Nvidia or ATI or Intel or AMD don't keep the technology from coming out is what I meant by if it ever becomes a reality.
Not that if it ever becomes possible.
I never asked steam to be connected to my MW2 account. What are the upsides of having steam, MW1 didn't work like this.Andyzkiller
Actually, by buying the game you accepted to use Steam.
And I quote from the back of the box.
"NOTICE: Product offered subject to your appectance of the Steam Subscriber Agreement ("SSA"). You must activate this product via the Internet by registering for a Steam account and accepting the SSA. Please see www.steampowered.com/agreement to view the SSA prior to purchase. If you do not agree with the provisions of the SSA, you should return this game unopened to your retailers in accordance with their return policy."
CoD4 didn't use Steam because it wasn't as big as it was back than. Steam has only been around for less then 7 years.
When you make a Steam account you agree to a contract basically saying that you understand it is illegal for you to sell, give or share your account with someone.
I'm pretty sure Valve watches EBay for people like you who think that EBay won't do anything. Valve would more than likely catch you selling it on EBay, contact EBay and then EBay would delete the listing and ban your account more than likely.
You can not sell games that are linked to your Steam account and you can not sell your Steam account.
If Valve finds out that you sold your Steam account they will close the account which would give the buyer the ability to contact EBay or PayPal or who ever and request their money back.
VGA is the oldest but it can have a 75hz refresh rate.DVI is what most people use and it provides 60hz refresh rate and higher res, iirc.HDMI has audio and video in the same cable and allows much nicer picture. If you can use HDMI, use it, otherwise get DVI.rakan959
Refresh rate is dependent on the monitor, NOT the cable.
DVI and HDMI produce the SAME visual quality.
