His PSU is under powered for any video card.

You really need to try and get a 400w PSU for your PC if you want to actually use a decent GPU.

If you don't overclock the default RAM speed foe the i7 920 is DDR3-1333

It's the power rating sticker on the power supply. The power supply is the box that you plug the power cord into. Post a picture of the sticker located on the power supply if you can.

Go to My Computer and remove the Read Only attribute from the whole hard drive and see if that works.

actually thats only for sli,you can cf different generations of video cards,although im not sure if you would get dx 11 support..darx55

I was able to overclock my i7 920 to 3.6GHz on the stock cooler for 24/7 operations without any problems. I then upped it to 3.8GHz when I got my ThermalRight TRUE 120.
