Another case to look at. The In Win Maelstrom.

Full tower case with 3 120mm fans and 1 220mm fan. Can fit up to 10 120mm fans. 1 in front, 2 on top, 1 in rear and 6 on the side panel. OR you could do 6 120mm fans and 1 220mm fan. With 1 120 in front, 2 120s on top, 1 120 in rear, 2 120s on side as well as 220mm on side.

Not sure how you would like the look of it though.

Nice in-depth review with lots of pictures.

Nor will you have to replace your PC in 3 or 4 years with an i5 or PII.

Go i5 750. You don't really need an i7 920 unless your doing stuff like 3D rendering and stuff of that nature.

With the price difference between an i7 920+mobo from a i5 750+mobo should be enough to get you a 5870.

I would go with the Corsair 750TX instead of the Cooler Master.

I know with my 4870 X2 it doesn't even go from it's energy saving clock speeds to full speed until I go into a full screen game.

May be different though.

I think the lighting messed up the first pic, it's slightly grainy to me.

The orange ports are extra SATA ports for a separateRAID-0 or 1 array when your RED SATA ports are full.

A couple of benchmarks floating around the Extreme Overclocking forums are

3DMark Vantage
PCMark Vantage
X3: Terran Conflict - Trade, Fight, Build, Think
HD Tune(For HDD performance results)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky Benchmark

These are just a few of them. There is also the Far Cry 2 Benchmark, Crysis Warhead Benchmark, Street Fighter IV Benchmark, PassMark's PerformanceTest and others.
