A game setting doesn't have to encompass the whole earth to be considered post apoc.

If it wasn't then you wouldn't leave your keyboard plugged in or your mouse or your webcam or your flash drive or a plethoraof other USB devices.

Click on Options and in the bottom right hand corner there is an Option called Disable PPU.

A PPU is a Physics Processing Unit. 3DMark uses PhysX, which is proprietary to Nvidia, which is ran on the video card to simulate physics. Disable PPU in the options will disable the use of the GPU in the CPU tests for physic calculations.

Heres 2 amazing reasons not to upgrade from XP, first its $200 that could be spent on thousands of things more important, including better hardware, and second older games have problems on windows 7, just look at most game forums and it has people trying to get these games to work properly.warmaster670

First, it's $100 for Windows 7 Home Premium x86 or x64 OEM.

Second, I have little to no problem running older games, say like Deus Ex, on my Windows 7 rig.

Last, you CAN dual boot which doesn't cost you a dime. Just a little extra hard drive space for the second OS.

Your going to have to upgrade the PSU in that thing before you can upgrade the video card.

Your better off just getting a full size tower and moving everything over in to it. That way you can get a full sized video card and your won't be limited on the size of the case on what kind of PSU you can get.

If your playing games, NOT flash games, a video card will help. Other than video games, no, a video card isn't going to help.
