Why do i care about exclusives,hmm well lets see.If not for exclusives thier would be no point in buying a ps3 because you can just buy the game on the wii/360.If not for exclusives people will want to buy the ps3,which in turn will make more devs want to make games for the ps3.If not for exclusives,games dont need to be cut down so they can fit on a 9gig DVD.NOW SHUT THE **** STOP SAYING EXCLUSIVES ARNT NEEDED!

I'm not buying a ps3,i already have one.And thats my point,why the hell did i dish out 200 more for nothing.
That's sorta the point... why DID you shell out 200 bucks for titles that weren't even released yet? Don't get me wrong, I have a PS3 as well... but you can't get mad simply because other platforms get to join in on the fun... if nothing else, you should be glad that a franchise like DMC is getting celebrated and increasing its fanbase.

Seriously, alot of you sound like my kids when they don't want to share their toys with others. Give it a rest already. Nothing's stopping you from buying the games you want on your platform. If they don't make it for your platform, play it on a friend's platform. Either way, quit whining about having to share.
You guys are missing the point. You are not allowed to sell tickets higher than their face value on ebay. So many times, people will sell a $1000 brown paper bag, and give away "free" tickets to the Superbowl as a loophole. This guy was selling a 360 with "free" tickets... ebay busted him though and he ended up having to cap his auction at $80. No biggie, I'm sure he backed out of the deal and lost a rep point.
I know that Europe is getting the emotion chip removed from the ps3, ok so doesn't that mean that we have the better PS3? Now, people say this has a benefit because they'll be able to upscale games to 720p-1080p...WHY? Thats the dummest thing i've ever heard, on the US PS3s they can just disable the emotion engine and run it off software emulation and it will do the same thing as the europe ps3s, so wheres all these sites getting that U.S. PS3s wont upscale and Europe ones will?ITaLiaN_BrO_699

For what it's worth, Gears is what restored my hope in console gaming. I've always been a big PC gamer (Still play CS: Source from time to time) but playing Gears gave me the same feeling I had when I played Contra for the first time. It just FEELS like the perfect action game. For those complaining about controls, you simply haven't played long enough. The learning curve may be a little steep for some (when it comes to evasive maneuvers). Graphics - Simply amazing (especially for a console running at 1280x720) Story - A little shallow, but it was gameplay that drove the story, rather than the other way around (like in the FF series) The *way* they told the story, however, was very nice and unobtrusive. Value - I've got through co-op SEVERAL times and it never gets old for me. It depends on who you're playing with. IT Factor - It's simply an awesome game... I can't think of another game that recaptures my imagination the way this one does. I owned all the last-gen consoles and own all of the current-gen consoles as well. I have Resistance. Quite frankly, after playing Gears, Resistance just feels so mediocre (the exact thing the TC is trying to say about Gears.) I haven't even finished it because I'm a little bored of it. (That, and I have a ton of other games that are more fun that I haven't finished yet.) It's all about preference I suppose.
