[QUOTE="killfooler"][QUOTE="Gzus666"][QUOTE="tonyandsteff"]lets try this again, even though ours have EE in them, they will stop routing the PS2/1 games through it, and just use emulation instead. the EE was there to give us BC until the emulation thing is worked out. That would suck though since early adopters have nearly full backwards capacity. Re-routing games around the chip would break alot of games wouldn't it? break a lot of games? you lost me, they are having 1000 major PS1/2 titles at europe launch with the emulation. by the time they have everyone using it, could be easily up in the high 90% range of all the games they made. That's cool and all. I was just wondering if there's that ONE kid out there who has a copy of Barbie's Horse Race and LOVES it... if one day she'll be playing it and enjoying it, then have it not work after an update. That would not go over well... by principle if nothing else. It would be the first time an "upgrade" made your system LESS robust.so basically with the old ps3 style with the emotion chip, you cant upscale?
is that what you're saying, because thats what im hearing, and seeing on the other posts that are slowly coming out as well... if thats the case i am going to be MAD... will sony change out the chips if you send your ps3 in???

[QUOTE="director13"]RE4 is not 480p so it cannot be played on anything except 480i, now yo ucan play it hooked up to hdmi i play mine and i have component and it still looks ok but if the game does not support it then the ps3 wont do it for you if you have socom and look on the back it states how it supports 480p also some other games do Wrong. RE4 IS a 480p game. While booting, you hold down like Triangle and X (I think) to force the 480p menu.Do any of you guys know how i can play RE4 on progressive scan using my Ps3 which is hooked up to my hdtv using hdmi?
Thanks!

So, is VT3 for PS3 going to have online or not? KrigonI would bet on "not." It's really sad too. I would have loved to see Sony answer Microsoft with a good online service. I remember all the hype back when Sony boasted that theirs would be better.
OMG people are getting too worked up over this, its tennis! Okay virtua tennis is good for playing on something like a psp but whats the point buying it for a PS3? too repetitive even if it does have mini games and why play online anyway because your better off playing against the computer without lag and people calling you a noob on every point. plus its sega and so far, they haven't impressed much.speedjunkie1992Or you could play it on a fast connection (like me) and play it against your out of town FRIENDS (like me). I have all 3 systems and will definitely be picking this up for the one with the strongest online support. Also, in case you haven't heard, this game is fun as haell.
Nice.
