So what is better; powerful 6 year old PC or PS3/Xbox?

My 2 years old laptop does not even start Crysis 2 and my 1 year old PC (700$)runs it in 5-25fps

So, xbox 360 beats anything less than a super PC today

As for a 6 yo PC, i doubt it can even install Crysis 2, as for running it ....

I think they will be weak.

Quad core 3.2Ghz at least 8 threads

Best GPU on the market or even an more advanced prototype that is not yet on the market (like 360 used a DX10 prototype for its DX9time)

The thing is, if xbox 360 can run Crysis 2 like that and will soon get Codename Kingdoms looking vastly better and new engine for Fable 4 with megatexture and Global Illumination and the Alan Wake 2 engine that will probably look vastly better than AW, the system essentially lasted for 8 years without ever feeling old

Imagine now consoles withthe latest spec hardware in 2 years from today, that is at least 10-20x more powerfull than 360 hardware, how long would something like that last ?

Those are not definitive conclusions stating that it singlehandedly is the best. And I don't care anyway because I do think it's the best, when it doesn't perform terribly. My point is you are falsely claiming that reviewers hold the same opinion as you, that Crysis 2 is MILES better than any other game. The fact is nobody said that. And if Uncharted 2 is so dated, why is it the one game that gets mentioned the most among all those reviews as being the previous standard bearer? And it was even mentioned to be side by side with Crysis 2 for best graphics. If you want to try to claim ownage use some facts to back it up. Because the "facts" that your showing (the quotes) and the drivel you're spewing are not one and the same.*

Sorry, but i only see THE BEST in the above articles, not maybe or perhaps or among or anything, pure best all around

PC exclusives in 2011: Diablo 3, Star Wars: Old Republic, Shogun 2: TW (confirmed AAA), The Witcher 2, Guild Wars 2, End of Nations, Jagged Alliance 3, Warhammer 40k- Dawn of War Retribution, Torchlight 2, MS Flight.

Easily 3 AAA and3 AA exclusives in that bunch. :shock: I'm probably missing some too. None of the 3 consoles will beat that.

Also 360 gets Dark Souls !!!!!!!!!!!!!! (FAR better than Withcer 2 time exclusivity), Codename Kingdoms (best looking game ever), Alan Wake 2, Fable 4, next Halo, Gears 3, Project Draco, Dust Elysian Tale, FF13-2and a huge number of other titles PC does not get

Add Last Guardian, FF13vs, Ni no Kuni on PS3 and Zelda SS on Wii

While all PC games i want are on my xbox360 (and Withcer 2 and even Diablo 3 soon)

Also i hate MMOs, so PC has nothing for me, consoles everything

I would focus on amazing games like Demons SOuls than fancy graphics to backup how great PS3 is

There will be NO DX11 patch.....EVER. Stop getting your hopes up. If you want to play a Crysis game with DX10, play the original. Until then wait until Crysis 3 and maybe you will see DX11.

The reason I ask is because I believe you have an idea in your head of exactly what this game will be like.

Its looking like a hack'n'slash to me, the type of game you traditionally hate.

If it is a simple hack and slash then will be disspointing indeed in gameplay, i will still love the art/graphics though and want to play it for that, like GOW3

Hopefully will have RPG elements, so will be great in gameplay too
