Mine is a "LaCie" HDD, never had any problems with it.
I got the same laptop as you:)
Lol same thing happened to me as well, i was leading the race then all of a sudden in the last lap i accidentally lost control of the vechicle and it led to a crash, which leads to alot of broken controllers :D :P

Yeah, those last two "twists" before the finish line are usually the reason I crash at the end. I always forget they're there.
I dont know why people complain about the grid controls so much, to me it actually make the game alot more better, mainly because it makes the game alot more challenging, knowing that you wont win the race ever single time, the ai is alot more challenging and tough, so you really have to give your all in this game, which to me is good, imo. :)realistic44
Im not really complaining, since once I get the hang of the controls, I race pretty well, its just that sometimes, like in the Le Mans 24 hr races, I just get really frustrated if I'm racing in a car for the first time, then crash and wipe out in the last few laps, it just makes me want to break my controller. But I just hit the restart button, and try again!:D
Best racing game out right now, i got to admit the controls are a bit challenging , but youll get used to it after a while. anyways, great grahpics, great car physics, a awesome online community, and just hours and hours of gameplay, i purchased the game for 50. and to me its worth every single penny. it really lives up to what the critics say :), imo. realistic44
What he said^^
Controls can be a pain, you have to get used to each car to get the most out of the race(s). But that's a good thing, and the AI is challenging. Overall it's a really good game. Drift events are my favourite!
We may never see him again on these forums.

I hope not, it's threads like these that keep me entertained when I can't play.
